Stayed for 2 nights for a business conference. The Holiday Inn Lido Beach is in a prime location if you want to spend time on the beach enjoying the Gulf and it is located very close to the circle with lots of shops and a good choice of restaurants. Some reviewers have claimed that this hotel is run-down. I don't agree. Altough it is obvious that it wasn't built yesterday, everything works fine and it's clean and good sized rooms. rea hotel, nice location. We had a 6th floor room on the ocean side, magnificent view of the sunset. Perfect hotel to stay if you want nice quiet white sand beach. The beach is so clean and quiet. Hotel is not a five star but staff makes it feel like one, they are very nice and friendly. The hotel and rooms itself are very typical Holiday Inn fare. We had a 2 queen room and it was fine as far as cleanliness, size and comfortable beds. This was our 8th trip to the Holiday Inn and it will be our last. The location is perfect but the Hotel is not! We arrived with our 2 children ages 3 and 7 months and checked in only to find we were placed in one of the smallest rooms I have ever been in. We have stayed here before... more
