Cigarette burns and stains on the comforter, so we took it off only to see even more cigarette burns in the blanket, counted 3 more burns in the drapes, holes in the walls by the bathroom door, hairs in the bathtub, found chicken wing behind tv. Many years ago, this property was a Hampton Inn but was converted a number of years ago to a Comfort Inn. Room carpet was soaking wet in front of bathroom door, possibly from clogged toilet. Room smelled bad. Had to request a change of room. Not what I expected. However, I did report my issues to them and they "made my stay right". They are in new ownership and the transition is probematic. However, based upon their response to my concerns, and their friendly nature, I would stay here again. It is an excellent location. More

This hotel is convenient to lots of Sarasota attractions. It's your standard Comfort Inn, which is tidy, comfortable, economically-friendly and just a decent place to stay a few nights. The front desk agent was sooooo nice and helpful and even gave us ideas for sight-seeing and restaurants! More

Stayed for three nights and was pleased with room which was clean,quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was usual continental but nice nevertheless.
