I really rarely write any reviews of the hotels that I travel to because I travel so frequently, but this hotel really changes the way that I view "corporate" travel. From the time I walked in the doors of the Hotel Indigo, I truely felt like I was on a vacation rather than a monotonous business trip, like I usually... More

Charming is the best way to descripe this hotel in the heart of the downtown area of Sarasota. We loved it here, the staff were so friend and effiecient at everything and has many suggestions of things to do in the area. The dining area for breakfast was like being served in your own home. The rooms are large with... More

Checked in on Dec.31st/07 until check-out Jan.2nd/08 .First, I'll start with the positives. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. You could sleep in it forever .The room was very clean and well maintained .The staff was very personable and friendly .The location of the hotel is very good as well. Very close to downtown and major roads .Now the negatives.....The door of... More

This hotel basically is a Holiday Inn with a few extra touches. Nice and very clean but nothing extraordinary. OK, you can walk to the centre, if you really like, but the location itself is very uninspiring, right next to the main road. Friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere, though! But considering the price just good average.

Great. Nice location, just a short walk downtown. If you are lucky you get a room with a wiew. The staff are very plesent and helpful, always doing their best. We had some problems with our room, and they were solwed nice and quickly. Unfortually this hotel seems to have paperthin walls, so you hear your neighbour day and night.... More

We stayed here for two nights on a recent visit to Sarasota. The Hotel Indigo has a great location – just 6 short, very walkable blocks from the center of the downtown shopping/dining district. We requested a "Sarasota View" room, and I'd definitely suggest doing so. The other side of the hotel affords a close-up view of another building. Our... More

I LOVE THIS HOTEL! From the time you walk in the door to the time you receive your express check-out, the customer service at this hotel is second to none. Not like most hotels, the atmospher is calming, the colors really set the mood. The rooms are tastefully and modernly decorated. I love the all glass walk-in shower. I do... More

It was my first time staying at a Hotel Indigo and I was so impressed. This hotel is a new built in Oct. 06 and is so well decorated with a relaxing nature theme. I stayed in the room that had the sea glass mural and it was fabulous. The whole place is spotless and such a great atmosphere! I... More

This hotel captures it all from start to finish. The building and grounds are tastefully done. When you walk in to the building it is so cozy....the best part is the warm smile & friendly nature of the entire staff. Everyone was exceptional from the manager to the housekeeper and everyone in between. It is a clean hotel. Loved the... More

How can you have no pool in a hotel in Sarasota? They have 2 "soaking pools" out the back - one is hot and one is cold but they are both bathtub size. It was a big downer for an otherwise super hotel.
