We picked this hotel for its beachfront setting on Lido Key and because it's a pet friendly place. We chose not to rent a car so having St. Armand's Circle a 10 minute walk away was great. It was a poolside room on the main floor, so there was no ocean view but had great proximity to the pool and... More

Coquina was a very comfortable and friendly hotel. It needs a little renovating but the room was very spacious and clean. It was just what we wanted for a winter get away. The management and other employees were very helpful with their knowledge of the area. They accommodated our every request or need. I would definitely return to Coquina for... More

Wow. I actually cannot imagine anyone giving this place more than one star. (Have included photos to illustrate what you will be getting if you stay here). Was told room faced parking lot. Happens. Only this was basically in the parking lot - barely recessed from the cars. That meant that the shades had to be drawn at all times... More

Sitting on my outside balcony enjoying the evening air and thinking how lucky I was to find this gem. Just yesterday, my spry 97 year old mother suggested a road trip to visit an old friend, taking us on a two day adventure straight across Alligator Alley. I wanted someplace relaxing by the water and also convenient for my mom,... More

Only spent two days and nights but it was so spacious and cozy, would go back! Just remember it is an older hotel with a historic landmark hotel next door but worth the quaint surroundings and beautiful view to the pristine beach.

This trip was intended as a mother/daughter get-away to escape the snow and frigid temperatures of New England. When we arrived, the room was clean enough, but looked NOTHING like the web photos- it was much smaller and in desperate need of updating. As we looked around the room, we realized that the light in the shower was out. The... More

chiaroscuro108, I apologize once again for the unfortunate occurrence during your stay. As I explained to you in person; we have monthly pest control service that had just taken place prior to your check in, which would explain the "palmetto bug" (not cockroach). I felt that comping one night in the best room on the property was adequate for your... More

Clean, spacious rooms. Great location on the beach. Awesome beach. Loved collecting seashells every morning with my daughter. Great walking or biking location to St Armand's Circle. Great value for the money. Older buildings but kept very clean. Beds were comfy. We loved having a kitchen to prepare our own breakfast and lunch. Hotel was very accommodating of dogs. My... More

Always like staying here for the convenience to everything and they take pets without a problem. Have stayed here before, clean but dated. If you like old Florida then this is the place for you. Staff is wonderful, they took care of all our needs and were always friendly.

We stayed here with my parents in one room and my family in another room. Staff is so friendly and so is everyone staying here. It's pet friends so we saw lots of dogies. Rooms are large. Kitchen area has plenty of room and there's s full size fridge. Pool is heated and the beach is just steps away. I... More

It ain't the Helmsley, but it is a wonderful little slice of old Florida right on the beach. Simple efficiency units with kitchen facilities perfect for family's and family's with pets. Clean, a pool, right on the beach. You will smile when you are lying on the beach with 10 other families and you look over 400 fy down the... More
