The cabins are nice and very clean. We just had a short walk down a little road to the beach where we often were one of the few groups there. Super clean beach! Great to have a kitchen and outdoor grill. The only downside (and it's not necessarily a negative) was that were had little to no cell phone reception.... More

Our family of 6 just returned from a one week stay in cabin #12B at Grayton Beach State Park. The cabin was clean, extremely quiet, and within walking distance of the most pristine beach we've ever seen. The cabin area is gated, with private beach access, and you often feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. Our only... More

Stayed in a cabin 2 nites. There is gated access to reach the cabins and you are given a security code at check-in. The beach is a short drive or 15-20 min walk away from the cabin. Really loved the private beach for cabins only, very private. No lifeguard but has beach flags showing water conditions. No pets allowed on... More

This state park is accessed from designated Scenic Highway 30A, in Santa Rosa Beach, FL (the "panhandle"), about halfway between Destin and Panama City Beach. If you desire peace and quiet, walking and biking trails, state forests, and pristine beach, you will be in the right place here. If you want fast food, beach stores with buckets and trinkets, chain... More

We've stayed in state park cabins before, and this was my favorite so far. Just a short bicycle ride or walk (or drive if you are bringing a beach tent, cooler, etc. to the beach) to the private beach area. The private beach area was the prettiest in the area; we checked out the other beaches during the week we... More

Very nice cabin to stay in! Only wish is that they were a bit closer to beach access! Extremely clean, and plenty of room. Would stay there for a week next time we go! We attended a wedding in Watercolor and the distance to it worked out great. Highly recommend.

What a great find! Great prices, great location, great cabins! We have never been to the Florida state parks and were very pleased with the accomodations! Best part, the cabins have their own private beach area less than a quarter mile away. We could walk to the beach which was beautiful and never crowded. The rooms were clean and up... More

We stayed in the cabins at Grayton Beach State Park for a week Memorial Day weekend. This is our fourth year to do an extended family vacation at this beautiful beach location. The cabins are each two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Also in the family room there is a fireplace and... More

The cabins are nice and clean. They're very basic...nothing fancy...but they have everything you need. The beach is amazing and just a short walk or drive from the buildings. Every cabin was full during our stay, yet the beach still felt empty. It was wonderful. We had a great time and I'd definitely stay here again. I do recommend that... More

My husband and I stayed at Grayton in October 2012. The beach was beautiful and the weather was amazing. The location is great! It's close to a lot of cool shops and places to eat. We tent camped and the people before us must have eaten A TON of oysters and seafood and thrown it all around the campsite. In... More
