What a wonderful place to stay. A short walk to the beach with a wonderful staff and beautiful room! I loved it! The rooms are fabulous and the food is amazing! I definitely recommend highlands house for the food and the stay!

We spent one night here. We arrived a few hours early, expecting to park and walk to the beach and then check in at 3. The woman at check-in was happy to give us the key to our room. Sure the room was a little small -- especially since we're used to a large bathroom with two sinks at home... More

We just returned from a quick weekend at Santa Rosa and our trip was certainly enhanced by the exceptional food at Highlands Inn! We did not stay there but were in the neighborhood so was delightful to walk over for Happy Hour. Saturday was the first day they served brunch and while they had more guests than planned for (!!)... My wife, daughter & I had a nice dinner on the back porch. The food was reasonably priced and we basically licked our plates. The owner and staff were extremely friendly. We got our food and drinks in a timely manner. Also, I had some drinks at the bar earlier that afternoon and enjoyed the R & R. We will... More

Upon arrival they could not find the paperwork. They let us in the room anyway. It was 2 large bunk beds and they were extremely low to the ground. Room very claustrophobic feeling. There was barely more than a foot of room between them. I chose this place ONLY because they had a shower w/bars. I was traveling w/ my elderly... More

This was our first experience of a bed and breakfast. We have grown up in this area and just came here for a get away. It was a last minute reservation. $200 night for a beach side/ Beach view room with two queen beds and private bathroom. The decor is emaculate and you feel like you've stepped into a romantic... We had to get a room around Seaside on short notice, and therefore hadn't had that much choice. We booked a room at the Highlands House via telephone, and the lady at the phone was very friendly. Still, we were a bit shocked when she told us a room for two would be 250$ incl. breakfast. Again - we were... More

Our Valentine’s wedding at the Highlands House turned out to be a complete success! The house itself is a bed and breakfast and has a very charming, vintage, old Florida feel. The owner of the house, the planner Sherry Graziani, as well as all of the staff, were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to make sure our stay and... More

An idyllic home away from home. A very welcoming hostess ~ Sherry was terrific. The 3-course full American breakfast by Chef Ryan McNay, delish. A mixture of down home and casual gourmet meal. The house's interior & exterior was lit in Christmas delight. A scenic seaside cottage that reminded me of Nantucket right here by the Emerald Coast of the... More

House: Quaint, older home on this stretch of 30A (many newer homes surround the property) but we liked that it had "personality". We rented the entire house for 3 days over Memorial Day weekend for our wedding. About 100 yards away from beach with big backyard where we had our reception (photos attached). There was a private boardwalk leading to... More
