We stayed here for two nights and were VERY pleased with everything. Our room was large with all amenities including a 2nd bathroom, and was spotlessly clean. Staff were very professional and accommodating. Grounds including the pool area were WELL kept and also spotlessly clean. The price was very reasonable including a 10% discount for staying in January. We could... More

I reserved a room for one night with a 50% deposit. I cancelled the reservation more than 30 days prior to the date. I was charged $25 "to process the credit refund on the credit card." I have never had a hotel charge this fee for a cancellation. Be aware.

I was in shock at how spotlessly clean, updated, and spacious our room was. I was expecting Sanibel to have gouge-out-your eyes prices for a room and was fully prepared to drive to Ft. Meyers should that be the case, but this was the first place we stopped and I'm glad we stayed. Very nice property. Incredibly clean room... cleaner... More

Anchor Inn is an older property-from 1950's I was told. is appealing for its quaintness-tables outside the tidy room for evening relaxation and socialization. Unfortunately, a so-so, overpriced restaurant is next door and every night there is noise until after midnight! rock band music,etc-the dum-dum of the drum just doesn't let up. the staff is very friendly but the location... With little time to spare, I found the Anchor Inn & Cottages on line in two days. Not knowing what to expect, I am so glad I choose this little piece of heaven. We stayed in the cottage that offered everything and more. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary utensils, big cold fridge, comfortable beds, spacious, roomy, cool... More

We stayed at the Anchor Inn & Cottages over Thanksgiving holiday and it was an absolute treasure! We brought our two dogs and had an absolute blast. The cottage was very large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly nice and outgoing. Great local food and beach access close-by! We will be back.

YOU MUST STAY HERE! We stayed in the pitch roof cottages and they're so cute! There are two bedrooms - one upstairs overlooking the living room and there's a full kitchen too. We were going to move on the 2nd night but the owner offered for us to stay in the cottage for the same price as the smaller rooms.... More

I enjoyed my stay here at this Old Florida hotel. I'm a middle aged women who traveled alone on this trip and just wanted a no frills safe, hotel. This was exactly what I got. My room 16, was very large and immaculately clean and quiet. I never heard a sound from other visitors any time I was there. It... More

My boyfriend and I (and my Yorkie and Mini-Shnauzer) stayed at the Anchor Inn and Cottages for five days back in July. Overall it was a really good stay. We had a room with two double beds and so we had PLENTY of space. I was actually surprised at how spacious the room was for two people and two dogs.... More
