Island Inn has the nicest staff, our room was very clean and nice. This place is great if you just want to kick back and relax. All we wanted to do was shell it is so addictive! We have stayed at the Island Inn several times. It is my favorite place for a relaxing vacation. The pool is on the gulf. My favorite rooms are in Matthew's Lodge. They have HUGE, private porches. The only draw back is the Inn is quite pricey. Happy shelling! more

The location of the Island Inn is nice and there were few people on the beach. The hotel looks a bit run down. When we asked the front desk for beach towels, we were given bath towels - smallish - and was told that was what they used as beach towels. It wasn't even large enough to cover the lounge... more
