Condo was clean, nice king bed. Unit built 1979. Well maintained. Great shelling for my wife, millions of shells, most in my garage. Anyone need shells please email me back.Great food on Sanibel Island, beach were ok. No, beach was not ok, need to be cleaned. Lots of shells, seaweed and dead fish. Pointe Santos is simply awesome! It is beautiful and very well maintained. Even though there were people around it seemed very quiet and relaxing. We were on the fourth floor and had a beautiful view. It's not too far (about 1/2 mile or so) from a lot of the shops and restaurants which we loved. We rented bikes for the... More

Whilst staying on Sanibel we visited Pointe Santo where we have previously stayed a number of times more than 10 years ago. It has not changed and the landscape and lagoon still look immaculately maintained. The Clubhouse where ’Sandy’ used to entertain our children and make shell animals, is still in use. The BBQ’s are still available for free use... More

Perhaps sunbathing on the roof terrace in the afternoon If you want an evening at home , remember bailey supermarket has a video rental machine . We have stayed here several times, in different condos, and always liked it. The units (all different) are good sized and the location is great - close to the wildlife refuge for jogs, and right on the beach. The only downside for us is you can't easily walk to any restaurants - true of a lot of the condo complexes... More

D2 at Pointe Santo De Sanibel: 1. Has its very own Facebook Page so you see exactly where you are staying: https://www.facebook.com/PelicanCoveatPointeSantoDeSanibel it lists local places on the island and things to do. 2. First floor and was nice to keep our bikes on the lanai. 3. Clean, beds seemed new and comfortable. 4. Pull out couch in the living... More

The complex is ideally located on Sanibel Island. We stayed in #E27, it is a 3 bedroom, and 2 bathroom unit. It faces the water. The unit seems to have been updated with the exception of the kitchen and the second bathroom. It is quaint, clean, comfortable (except for the beds..they are very hard) and decorated in a beach theme.... More

Thank you for favorable comments about Pointe Santo de Sanibel. We’re glad you enjoyed the pool, hot tub and beautifully manicured grounds. As you pointed out, Pointe Santo provides lounge chairs on the beach for our guests. The chairs are anchored to help protect Sanibel’s wildlife, especially sea turtles which nest on the beach between spring and fall. For the... More

Very nice, clean and right on the beach. Pool was very nice but walks on the beach & collecting shells and the amazing sunrise & sunsets are beyond compare. Parking was assigned but sometimes had others taking spots but issue resolved quickly. Will make this a go place again!

This is our second year at Pointe de Sanibel. Last year we stayed in B26 and had a delightful vacation. This year we are in D23 and not enjoying it as much. This side is darker since the sun doesn't hit it until late afternoon. Furnishings are dark as well which adds to the darkness of the condo. The general... More
