My husband and I have been going here for several years and I love it! Staff is helpful and nice! Love that there are free bikes and umbrellas too! The room and facilities are clean and conveniently located. We have stayed for our anniversary several times and the staff has left us a bottle of wine to celebrate.

I read many reviews before booking this room. I believe I paid a premium, but had I searched or used my AAA rate I probably could have reserved it for less money. I did have the $35/night credit which was nice. We had an oceanfront room/2nd floor with a great view of the coastline. It was clean and quiet. Everyone... More

Just returned from our first visit to Sanibel Island. Housekeeping left much to be desired. Missing wash cloths, bath mats, cups, etc. made for several trips to the office. Despite this, the rooms were clean. The amenities are great. As long as we were down at the hut by 8:30 a.m. umbrellas, chairs, and towels were plentiful. The highlight was... More

Stayed one night with a friend and we both wished we could stay longer and have planned to return! Beautiful property, quiet and relaxing. But....... There is a pool, it's on the beach where they provide chairs and umbrellas, also available are kayaks and bikes which are no clouded in your stay! There is also a tiki bar at the... More

Although this property has some age, it is timeless. Our room was immaculate. Everything we asked for was delivered with a smile. The property is quiet, which is perfect for someone looking for a reprieve from the hustle and bustle that is modern society. It's like stepping back in time. We can't wait to return.

Where to begin? The best part of this Inn was the easy access to the beach & the shelling. We stayed in the Periwinkle building. Tired from our flight we were looking forward to some rest upon arrival before exploring the Inn & Island. Unfortunately, at check in we were given the key to a room that was inhabited, oops!... Our family of 5 stayed her at the end of July. We ended up coming in on a Saturday and leaving Sunday. We were going to come in Friday afternoon, but at $300/night, we didn't think it was worth it. I made our reservation over the phone about 10 days prior, and was told about the resort fee, which covers... More

This was our 4th stay at the Sanibel Inn. Each visit we look at other properties on the east end of the island but keep coming back to the Sanibel Inn- I think our search for something "better" is over! We love the small size of the property, friendly and responsive staff, rooms with hardwood floors, comfy beds, daily NY... More

We visited Sanibel Inn last year for the first time and felt so at ease here that we can back again this year. Nice, quiet inn with beach access. Comfy beds. Only draw back is that there is a resort fee of $12/ night even if you don't check out anything. Other than that, a great place to stay.
