From the moment my sister and I arrived, the staff at Sanibel Inn was very courteous and genuine. The grounds are just gorgeous with a beautiful, well-kept pool with a large deck. The beach is just steps from the pool. The rooms have a screened-in porch, and ours overlooked the pool and the ocean beyond. There was no extra cost... More

Stayed here in February 2014. Review is long overdue. While this is not a luxury resort, it is the low key atmosphere that ended up being part of the charm. I really loved that they did not nickel and dime you. There are no additional fees for things like beach lounge chairs and umbrellas. There are bicycles available to borrow,... More

Stayed there from 08/19-08/27. Booked as a package through JetBlue Airlines. We could not have been happier with our choice. The location is perfect. Right on the beach and close to the causeway where you enter and exit the island. We received a free upgrade on our room from a one bedroom to a two bedroom, two bathroom unit with... More

This was only our second visit to Sanibel Island and we decided to try this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly, courteous staff and the great service we received. Raymond greeted us upon our arrival and we registered and he explained all the amenities available and told us to call him if we needed anything. I was impressed... More

Great location and friendly staff! Easy check in on 8/22 with very nice ladies. Staff called us next day to make sure all okay. Loved our room, comfortable beds and pillows. Everything was clean , and thank goodness the AC was awesome because weather this weekend was sweltering! Beautiful view. Did not eat in restaurant but quickly found at Tiki... More

Stayed there earlier this month with my husband and two boys. The room was absolutely beautiful, really spacious and immaculate, bathroom lovely too. Unfortunately we were on the first floor (ground to us Brits) and so although we could see the sea it was a bit obscured by greenery. Also the mosquito netting made it very dark. Pool area is... Our stay at the Sanibel Inn helped make this vacation a real joy for my wife and I. The following list provides some of the reasons why we enjoyed our stay: 1. We had a view of the gulf from our first floor room which included a screened-in balcony and ceiling fan; 2. The room was spacious with the air... More

My husband and I have been going here for several years and I love it! Staff is helpful and nice! Love that there are free bikes and umbrellas too! The room and facilities are clean and conveniently located. We have stayed for our anniversary several times and the staff has left us a bottle of wine to celebrate.

I read many reviews before booking this room. I believe I paid a premium, but had I searched or used my AAA rate I probably could have reserved it for less money. I did have the $35/night credit which was nice. We had an oceanfront room/2nd floor with a great view of the coastline. It was clean and quiet. Everyone... More

Just returned from our first visit to Sanibel Island. Housekeeping left much to be desired. Missing wash cloths, bath mats, cups, etc. made for several trips to the office. Despite this, the rooms were clean. The amenities are great. As long as we were down at the hut by 8:30 a.m. umbrellas, chairs, and towels were plentiful. The highlight was... More
