This was our 4th stay at the Sanibel Inn. Each visit we look at other properties on the east end of the island but keep coming back to the Sanibel Inn- I think our search for something "better" is over! We love the small size of the property, friendly and responsive staff, rooms with hardwood floors, comfy beds, daily NY... More

We visited Sanibel Inn last year for the first time and felt so at ease here that we can back again this year. Nice, quiet inn with beach access. Comfy beds. Only draw back is that there is a resort fee of $12/ night even if you don't check out anything. Other than that, a great place to stay.

We stayed at the Sanibel Inn in June, 2014 and had a wonderful time. Great ocean front rooms with an amazing view. The room was spacious and included a microwave and small fridge. Always a plus! The pool bar was very enjoyable with a nice selection of beverages and snacks. The restaurant menu was somewhat limited and a little pricey,... More

My wife and I just spent 8 nights at the Sanibel Inn. We stayed there about 20 years ago, and looked forward to the same experience. It was very good, but not "great" as last time: Here is my critique: Good News: 1) Gulf/Pool/Garden View - 1st Flr 1 Bedroom Suite [Not the pricey FULL Gulf View] From our screened... More

The staff were very cordial and friendly but our room was not available until after 4PM which meant we didn't have much of our first day to enjoy the beach. There were no beach chairs or umbrellas available for us at that late hour of the day so we were not able to sit on the beach at all. The... More

Horrible vacation ending experience - had to argue with them in order to get the hotel credits that were confirmed by the staff when checked in. Upon checking out the credit was not deducted from the bill. The staff insisted we shouldn't have got it in the first place and we were expected to settle our bill as is. We... More

We stayed at Sanibel Inn at the beginning of July. They were undergoing renovations so they upgraded us to a condo unit. This place is GREAT! If you are looking to just unwind and relax, stay here. The beach was very nice and all within just a few steps from the rooms. The pool was ok. It was a tad... More

We checked in to the Sanibel Inn for a five day stay and first impressions are lasting impressions. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful! There is a comfortable, homey feel here and it is a short walk to the beach.

From the front desk staff to the pool bar bartender to the man working the beach cabana, you couldn't ask for a better customer service experience. The tropical setting is lush and gorgeous, too! We had our best vacation in 25 years and look forward to going back in a coupoe of years. EVERYONE should get to have the Sanibel... More
