Convenient location: cross the causeway from Fort Myers, straight across Periwinkle at the Stop sign and down to East Gulf and there you are, straight ahead. Reception friendly and efficient. Our rooms were ready almost 3 hours ahead of stated check-in time. Check out easy and efficient. Bathrooms OK. Cleaning Staff excellent, honest and efficient. Short walk to the beach,... more

I stayed at the Sanibel Inn for my one-year wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, the woman at the front desk (I'm sorry, I forgot her name...but she was fabulous!) was kind enough to offer us an upgrade to an ocean view suite. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Housekeeping was very thorough and even friendly enough to open my door... more

We stayed the weekend. Nice grounds and pool. The beach was great. Cool tiki bar where you can get hotdogs and hamburgers and drinks. The room was nice. The hotel was secluded and quiet. Would definitely go again. more

This was our first time at Sanibel Inn. We stayed there for two nights the beginning of October. Was a little frustrated trying to locate the establishment and more so when the phone number I had was no longer in service. That may have been an error from the hotel booking web-site. In any case, after finding the place, we... more

We stayed at Sanibel Inn from Monday through Saturday. At check-in (and subsequently at check-out), we were served by Chanda, whose engaging manner boded well for a pleasant stay. The 2nd floor corner oceanfront suite in the Dune Daisy building was very comfortable, was kept quite cool by the A/C, and was quiet. The furniture in the living room, bedroom... more

Our stay was wonderful! The room was perfect and we got a free upgrade sue to the low season. Pool was great and is right on the beach. All rooms have some view of water even though some say pool view. Needs a hot tub but the tiki bar made up for it. Strong drinks! We had a wonderful time! more

This is a great place to stay. I really love it. I initially rented a room with the pool view, actually they upgraded me to gulf view. I recommended no carpet in the room, they gave me that also. the hotel is antique, but very comfy. I can't wait to come back. I love it. I went there to spend... more

I stayed a week at Sanibel Inn with my husband and his family. There were 8 of us all together. This place is a little piece of Heaven of earth. Our ages ranged from 50-6 and we all really enjoyed this place. Our favorite restaurant on the island was the Island Cow. We ate dinner one night there and it... more

The hotel is not fancy but comfortable. The room is clean with all the amenities you would want plus a refrigerator and microwave. We enjoyed the easy access two the beach - Key West type hotel. The staff surprised us with an upgrade to our room with a great view and a bottle of wine since it was our anniversary.... more
