Resort was beautiful, but we had hiccups. Overall amazing. Our family enjoyed the Sundial and would recommend it for families. It was too cold to do too many water activities, in February. Great locat

Too Pricey for value received. $30 a day for 4 pool towels and use of the pool is absurd. The pool is part of the facility. Too Pricey for value received. $30 a day for 4 pool towels and use of the pool is absurd. The pool is part of the facility. Too Pricey for value received. $30 a day... More

We loved our stay. Lots to do and very accomodating. The only real negative was a lack of lights both inside and especially outside. We think that's a definite safety issue. Staff was good...food was good....everyone very friendly. We would definitely stay there again,if lighting issue was addressed

Dear BarryBograd: Thank you for your feedback. Here on Sanibel Island, we have a “Dark Sky” ordinance. This ordinance is in place for residents and visitors to enjoy the beautiful starry nights naturally in addition to protecting nesting turtles. The island is not allowed to have lights looking out by the water in order to not confuse the turtles for... More

We had a great stay at the Sundial! My parents, my husband and I, and our three boys 11, 9, and 6 all loved it. Resort had a low key, relaxed feel which was perfect for us. Pool was heated, which was ideal- went swimming when air temps were in the 50s and 60s. Boys went shelling every morning when... More

It was a Road Scholar program. Hotel was well maintained, easy to get around. Room was very comfortable. Exercise facility was more than adequate. Restaurant service was slow for breakfast and lunch. Staff was friendly and helpful. Access to beach was wonderful. Location was very convenient. Did not use bicycles but suggest you provide helmets, even though they are not... More

Loved it! Thanks! Perrywinkle road gets quite crowded after 10 :30 to early evening. So do your driving earlier or later. Tarpon bay nature preserve is not to be missed. Biking was fun. Grounds are beautiful. Kayaking was fun at Tarpon bay.

We were placed in room with worn furniture, peeling cabinets, mold and overall just a very tired room. We were able to change rooms to a very nice and updated room. There was no internet in the room which made it a bit problematic to work. The front staff was not very informative about the room and/or any questions we... More

Hotel has been extensively upgraded by new owners. We will probably return again. Timing of housekeeping services was unpredictable; perhaps this can be improved. Bicycles provided by hotel are not as useful as rental bikes in town.

We really enjoyed the stay. The resort grounds are very clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed being able to order food from the bar next to the pool. Kids enjoyed pizza by the slice. We will be back next year.
