We just came back from a four night stay here, never having been to the Fort Myers/Sanibel area we didn't know what to expect. But we just loved this 30 room hotel/Inn.. Our room over.looked the pool with it's lush landscaping and off to the side we could see the Gulf. It was quiet mostly couples. The Inn includes breakfast... More

First time staying on Sanibel Island and couldn’t have been happier with the Song of the Seas. It’s not the fancy-resort, but clean, quaint, “old-Florida” style of vacationing. We had a one bedroom on the gulf. The unit had a screened-in porch, but since it was 92 each day, we did not use the porch (except to hang our clothes... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights in September. Reception was friendly and helpful. First impression of room was not too good. Door a bit tatty. On entering the room, two of the electric cooker elements were out of position. I bagan to worry. No need though, the room , although dated, was very clean. The bed very... More

Not a thing to complain about. Met our budget, met our needs. Brought my elderly mom and she loved the porch. Even though her mobility isn't great she was able to get onto the beach and look for shells. Wife loved how clean the place was including the pool and hot tub.

Very laidback peacefull place. Staff is friendly and the tiki bar next door at the sister inn was a blast. Food is excellant there also. Beach is fabulous and just a short walk away. If you are looking for laid back and peacefull this is the place to be. My friends and I had the pool and hot tub to... More

My husband and I loved staying here and will definitely go back! It is nothing fancy, but it is clean and the staff is the best. Cindy, the lady that checks you in is so nice and the lady that sets up the breakfast in the mornings is so sweet. We loved having chairs and umbrellas out on the beach... More

Location is fabulous, but some improvements needed. We had a gulf front room, but having to crawl over the bed (as there is barely six inches between bed and wall) was some what comical! Bathroom nicely redone with good shower and thick towels. No ice bucket in the room though. Having read that securing a beach chair and umbrella could... More

3rd times a charm.... This was our 3rd Birthday in Sanibel at the Song of the Sea. We had such a relaxing time. It is such a charming hotel. The staff are very helpful. Though we miss Cheryl :( I would recommend the Song of the Sea if you want a nice quiet place on the beach. We will be... More

We just got back from our third visit to Sanibel Island, Fl. We have always stayed at The Song of the Sea Resort, it never disappoints. The resort is small and personal, a very nice change from the large resorts that the guests sometimes don't get that extra home feel from the staff. Cindy and Natale at the front desk... More

This is a very small property with a great location. It is beachfront and has a pool and hot tub. When we were there the pool water was almost as hot as the hot tub, so we never went in the hot tub. Beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes were included and generally no problem getting them when we needed them.... More
