I loved staying in a smaller hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I used their expertise in many instances. They had good recommendations for restaurants. They even helped with our return flight. They are very conveniently located. The rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. I slept great. Loved the screened in porch and microwave... More

Because of changes in another hotel we have stayed at in Sanibel, we tried Song of the Sea. I loved the downstairs room with a pool view. The screened porch had a door so we could go out to the beach directly from there. It also allowed us to store our bikes on the porch keeping them safe and dry.... More

We've stayed at several places on Sanibel in the past and the Song of the Sea is definitely one of our favorites so far! It's a much better option than its next door neighbor, the Sanibel Inn -- we found Song of the Sea to be more intimate, and the service was better and friendlier. The rooms were nicer too.... More

We have stayed at Song of the Sea for somewhere like nine years now, sometimes (like this year) twice a year. We have loved it, it was/is like our second home. We hesitate to change, but it seems to have gone down a bit since it was taken over by the parent company that owns Hilton. But, I can earn... More

First, let me say that my husband and I have always loved this place, having stayed there many times. We have paid the highest price in the complex to stay gulf side, upstairs and in the past it has been worth every penny. The rooms upstairs include a living room with a couch, comfy chair, a small table with two... More

Spent four nights here in a gulf view top floor room. The screened porch was our favorite place to be when we weren't out exploring. The room was large, pretty, and clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. We enjoyed the free breakfast, especially the fresh fruit, and the lovely outdoor eating area. Staff were friendly and... More

Stayed here for two weeks during the height of the season. Quiet, personal and convenient. Beach towels, bicycles, and breakfast. Near the best shelling beach. Easy off and on to the mainland. Would stay any time I come here.

My husband, sister, and I had a great time during our stay at Song of the Sea. The location can't be beat for relaxation... nice and quiet beaches if that's what you're looking for and lots of added value offerings such as free wifi (that worked!), chairs and umbrellas at the beach, and an extensive complementary breakfast. The hotel has... More

Just made my second visit to this Sanibel inn, and am every bit as impressed as my first time. Convenience, attention to detail, setting, amenities like beach lounges and umbrellas, free bikes that are kept in excellent condition, free beach towels, free breakfast make this inn the perfect place for an easy, laid-back vacation. Warning: this is not for you... More

Rooms are spacious and have a full size fridge and kitchenette - very helpful for longer stays. Comfortable beds, enclosed screen patio, big screen TV and wifi. Breakfast is substantial - waffles, cereal, breads, fruit, yogurt, juices, coffee. Heated pool! Very nice feature, especially with kids - mine went in every day and were comfortable with the temperature. Bike rentals,... More
