My husband and I and our friends returned this week from a wonderful vacation at Signal Inn. Our townhouse was WONDERFUL. It was beautifully decorated with all the luxuries you have at home. The grounds are landscaped and LeeAnn was most helpful with her recommendations for restaurants. It's nice to have property managers on site but since everything was perfect... more

We just returned from a wonderful 6 night stay at the Signal Inn. We all loved it including our small dog. They are very dog friendly! We stayed in unit #9 which is a 2 bedroom with a screened in porch and sundeck. They even gave us a bottle of wine when we checked in! The beach was beautiful! The... more

If you want a small complex, low key, laid back atmosphere, then this is the spot. I seek out the small, more intimate properties where ever I go. The Signal Inn is just that. It is by no means a 5 star resort with over the top amenities, but rather a lazy, well kept seceret that allows you to relax... more

We made our first trip to Sanibel in 1982-83 and Signal Inn was still being developed. We took a chance on unknown accommodations and are we glad!!! We have returned every few years since the early 80's and would not stay anywhere else on the island. Over the years we have stayed in most of the available units either with... more

Wonderful stay at the Signal Inn. The accomadations were quite comfortable. Our dog loved the beach and the bike paths. We loved the secluded feel of the Inn and the management was very helpful with ideas on restaurants and other sight seeing suggestions. I will definitely return next year. more

This was our 5th consective year to vacation at Sanibel but our first at The Signal Inn. I was a little apphrensive about the Inn as I had only seen it over the website and not in person. We were not dissapointed and enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked for Dec,09. We travel with a small dachshund... more

My brother and his family from New York have been staying at Signal Inn every year for over 10 years - and they've ALWAYS enjoyed their stay. I often visit them and bring my two dogs. We've never had issues - the huge wrap-around porches give everyone the space to stretch out and relax. The beaches are secluded and dolphins... more

We are currently enjoying another wonderful stay at the Signal Inn. We have been vacationing here--sometimes twice a year--for 12 years. We have NEVER had a bad experience and can not reconcile our appreciation for the property and the Managers, Leeann and Chuck and their assistants, with OviV's review!!! The Signal Inn IS pet friendly, but is is also pet... more

My wife and I like to visit Sanibel for a summer vacation about once a year. We have stayed in a few places and have generally had good experience with friendly service. This year we decided to take our 8 month old boxer, Bruno. We looked for dog friendly places and decided on the Signal Inn in Sanibel. The first... more
