If you're looking for the comforts of a modern, clean place, it's not here. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors TV and conversations. Above the entry door is pane glass that's allows light into room all hours of the day. I had to use a pillow to keep the light out. The bed actually used the... More

A charming hotel, which actually made me feel as though I was a guest at a relatives home. The building barely has a "hotel" look or feel to it. From the rocking chairs and bicycles parked by the porch, to the very warm and inviting interior, and rooms was like a step back into better times. The building is quite... More

This hotel has charm, an amazing location, terrific lobby and wonderful staff. The rooms really need an upgrade and are a little depressing,. There is a fun bar and live music on the weekends. Lovely and large outdoor terrace great for sipping and chatting. If you can overlook outdated and worn rooms there are a lot of pluses this property... More

The hotel is downtown and in a nice area for walking to shops and restaurants. We went into the room, it was clean, HOWEVER, the bathroom was small, make it tiny, or even minisule The toilet was loose, you can sit on the toilet, brush your teeth, and shave your legs in the shower all at once, but it was... My sister and I stayed one night here. Just a quick last minute get away.. I found this place online and it sounded interesting and near some restaurants, shopping, and a cinema so I made a reservation. The girl who checked us in was nice enough, but not overly interested in conversation. Our room was on the second floor (no... More

I have never walked out of a hotel before, but with this one I did. The room I was given was just plain gross. There were little bugs on the carpet along the perimeter of the room, it was dusty, and there was a disgusting vomit looking mess on the comforter that I don't know how housekeeping could have missed... We arrived in the afternoon and had no trouble checking in. Over night parking, in downtown St. Pete, was convenient and inexpensive. Within walking distance of fabulous shopping and dining. A great front porch area for relaxing and "people watching" or enjoying the good hot breakfast served each morning.. Only negative was the VERY small bathroom.. No construction while we... More

I was disappointed that the bathroom was tiny and there was no room to spread out any toiletries, there were but a few hangers and a large cabinet with no shelves. There was no place to put my stuff. Granted I am traveling with a 90 liter backpack, far more than most people have. The breakfast was more than a... More

This small quaint hotel is in the perfect location for exploring St Petersburg. Only 3 blocks from Beach Street, the pier and lots of shops in between. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and charming. The front porch offered a fountain with rocking chairs to watch the world go by. Coffee all day which included espresso, lattes... More

We stayed here in order to attend a concert at the Palladium Theater nearby. The Pier Hotel is old and quaint, and only a few blocks from the waterfront, museums, and fun restaurants downtown in St. Petersburg. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly.
