My wife and I recently stayed in this hotel on a visit St. Pete to celebrate our 30-year anniversary. Booking this hotel was a huge mistake and our stay was a nightmare! We both believe we must share this feedback with you so you don’t have the same experience. First of all, this hotel is currently making interior and exterior... More

This is the place to stay after seeing the busy part of St Petersburg, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Older but well cared for and the staff are really there to help you. Deanna is a top shelf employee that adds to the experience of the Pier Hotel, this is a property to return to for another visit!

The first time I stayed here I loved it. Old but clean and comfortable. Great location, great veranda, afternoon happy hour was social and entertaining. Nice continental breakfast was included in the price. Booked it again for my next return to St. Pete's. The second time we arrived late in the evening due to traveling. Got the room we booked.... As long as you know what to expect, this historic small hotel run like a bed and breakfast will offer a pleasant stay in a great, central location. Frayed carpeting, window unit A/C's and no elevator (it's a three-story building) are par for the course, but the funky old rooms have character, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the... More

This is an older hotel that is clean but dated. My wife and I enjoyed our stay because the hotel scored well considering our main criteria which are value, cleanliness, and location. The hotel is located within walking distance(ie: 5 minutes give or take) to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. At around $80 for a king size bid(Groupon deal)... More

We stayed in this historic building in August during their hottest weather all year! Located near the Salvador Dali Museum, the arts district and the Tampa Bay Rays ballpark. Everything was within walking distance, live music, movies, restaurants, shopping. Easy on/off the highway, so day trips to Tarpon Springs and the sponge docks or Sarasota and the Ringling Brothers Museum... More

First let me tell you, make your reservation on the actual Pier Hotel website, much cheaper! I stayed in an Antique Double Bed room, for about $70, which is perfect size for a single traveler or even if you're w/ someone else. The location of the hotel is great...5 min walk to Clubs/Bars (and there's plenty of them to bar-hop... More

Wonderful place to stay. Nice central location. Also near local family. Staff was very nice and accommodating for a change in our travel schedule. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Try to stay here whenever we come to St. Pete.

This hotel is a quaint ,old place. It is clean, offers a continental bfast, great customer service. It's located near downtown St. Pete, near the Sundial area. Easy walk to restaurants and up and coming nightlife. I got a great price on hotels.com

This hotel seems more like an 'ordinary old' hotel versus a 'vintage' hotel, as described. We arrived a little after 10p. No one was available and somehow our reservation wasn't on the books. Via phone, we reached someone and we were able to stay the night in a free room. It was directly under the stairs. :( The bathroom is... More
