We stayed 2 nights before our flight home to the UK.The airport was an easy 30 minute drive. Ed was helpful and very welcoming. We had long chats about St Petersburg, America, the UK and the world in general! The breakfasts were delicious and the room more than comfortable. The location is ideal for the town and the 50 cent... More

My wife and I spent Memorial weekend in St Petersburg; we stayed two nights at Dickens House. Our Cottage Suite was clean and comfortable, and our host Ed was most helpful and accomodating. A couple of days before our arrival, we informed him we'd just gone gluten-free, and he prepared two delicious breakfasts for us without wheat. We'll be back!... More

Ed always does an amazing job. We live in Tampa Bay but never get the chance to be tourist in our own backyard so we book a weekend at Dickens House! This time the Cottage Suite was available so we booked it. If you are not interested in having the traditional house stay and want additional privacy it's great. You... More

We visited friends in St. Pete this past weekend and stayed at the beautiful, charming inn. Great rooms, awesome breakfast and the nicest inn keeper you can think of. If you visit St. Pete, that's the place to go!

We had the smallest room (The Orange Belt), which Ed warned us for. It was still good though, since the common areas are excellent to hang out. The bed is good and you're very close to the harbour. Ed is a great host who whips up an amazing breakfast: delicious all 4 times, all different. Definitely worth going here!

We were staying in the smallest room, still we had enough space. The Dicken's House is approx. 15 Minutes walk away from city center, if that's still to much there's also a tourist-transport leaving every 15 Minutes. Breakfirst was delicious, and aditionally there was coffee / home-made cookies available, yuummmm!! Additionally, Ed really knows what to do / to see.

Best B & B ever. Delicious gourmet type breakfast with fresh fruit, yummy coffee, and unbeatable entree; different each day of our 3-day stay. Mr. Caldwell is a very friendly informative host, and caters to individual dietary needs. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with all amenities one could desire. Looking forward to a return when possible.

This was our 2nd stay at The Dickens House B&B. Ed provides comfortable rooms and common areas and truly great breakfasts such as the french toast and eggs tempura. As in our previous stay we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and fellow guests. Its location is ideal as we were able to walk to the beach and pier, as well as... More
