Had we not been exhausted from travelling all day, we probably would have gone somewhere else. From the outside, the motel did not look too bad. We had a room right by the pool which was very large. The beach was very accessible. We had to park on the back side of the hotel and were a little afraid to... more

Basic rooms, AC not adjustable, apart from that great location, nice Tiki bar and pool on beach. Receptionist really friendly and helpful. If you are looking for somewhere inexpensive for a night or two, you can't go wrong for $59 per night (with coupon). Any longer stays you are probably better off staying somehwhere a litle more up market. more

I sent my daughter their for her graduation present and they did everything they could to make sure her trip was a DISASTER. Starting out with the pricing. We were quoted for one price and then when we got her there, there was hidden chrages. $20 for phone usuage up front. Even though they weren't going to use it, considering... more

We only stayed at the Travelodge St Petes Beach for 1 night during our 3 week holiday to Orlando but that was enough. Upon checking in we were told that they had no record of our booking and had not even heard of "RoomsNet" with whom we had made the booking. After a three hour wait (albeit on the beach)... more

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel right on the beach, so in spite of the reviews, we booked here. The outside is in very bad repair, the lobby and common areas are dirty and badly in need of renovation, a coat of paint would work wonders. Our room was kept fairly clean and the staff was helpful. If... more

We needed an inexpensive room on the beach for one weekend night. This hotel wasn't even that cheap (we paid $140 for the night!), and it was awful. The exterior looks like a run-down motel, and the interior isn't much better. Everything just feels very old and stale. Our bathroom was the worst part -- it looks like it hasn't... more

We stayed at this place for one night and that was the worst night I think I've ever spent in a hotel. The room was old & less than clean. There were a pair of men's underwear up on a shelf that obviously the maid missed. The drunk next door decided to yell and cuss at his wife that night... more

I stayed for week at March Break (March 13-20). The hotel location could not be better. I would suggest a garden view room or you will be looking out at a parking lot. Hotel is old and has not been updated for quite a while. I found the room clean and large. Garden are not maintened on a regular basis... more

We visited the Travelodge for a week towards the end of March 2009. We had a wonderful time! We had an efficiency room which was nicely sized with a palm tree outside of our window. They have a huge pool with plenty of seating around it. The garden was quite nice with seating in it. The location is great!!! Only... more
