Didn´t satisfied us at all: our deluxeroom with ocean view got cleaned as late as 5 pm almost every day! Even though we were at the pool/beach the whole day. So it wasn´t cleaned when we got back! Even though we paid 275 USD (plus tax) a night, you had to pay 20 USD for the cabanas on the beach.... more

We booked a Deluxe Suite King, at the time of booking the description did not mention 'most with balcony' and now it does hence we did not get a balcony, one of my personal must's when staying at the beach! Needless to say i was VERY disappointed, couple this with when first switching on the tape to our suite in... more

Arrived at the hotel on the 19th of June, after a 8.5 hour flight and a 2 hour drive we were exhausted, had booked a 1 bed Gulf view suite and that was exactly what we got, our room had the most gorgeous sea views. Each member of staff we encountered were extremely professional and endeavoured to make the holiday... more

We booked a room for 8 nights - one bed suite with "bay" views. We arrived and were given a room on the 2nd floor with a view of the parking lot and the rooftop. The room itself was very small and cramped and noisy, as it was near the elevators. At a rate of $400/night, this was entirely unacceptable.... more

I have stayed at the Don Cesar several months ago with a client. I should have known then it would be my last. I thought I would take my wife along this time and things would be different. I had a business meeting so I thought it would be a good idea since she could go to the spa on... more

Property/General - The Don is an old hotel. It was built in 1928 and has been used for everything from a hotel to a VA hospital. The latest restoration has brought it back to its former glory, especially in the common areas, but underneath, it's still an old historic building. Entering the main lobby makes you feel like you're in... more

From the moment that you arrive at The Don you are treated like royalty. The service is first class from check-in to check-out. This was our first stay at the resort and I can gurantee you we will be returning very soon. The beach is perfect, the pools are great, and the food is excellant. Overall, just an amazing stay.... more

The rooms are small in this very old, prestigous hotel, but what they lack in size they make up for in their ability to pamper their guests. My husband & I enjoyed side by side massages in Spa Oceana, followed by a swim in the swimming pool, cocktails at the outside beach bar & a walk on the beach as... more
