This hotel is a little old but kept up and clean. The rooms are typical beach hotel rooms and the pool is great. The hotel is right on a nice beach that didn't seemed to be too crowded. Staff was helpful but room service was lacking not too bad to complain about though. The karaoke at night is great and... More

Stay away from this place. They look you in the eyes and lie. I don't see how they sleep at night. I contacted the hotel directly because I had specific request of ground floor ocean front rooms { 3 }. We have a handicapp person and small children traveling together. When I called they told me that the request would... More

We stayed in mid-April and were worried after some of the reviews. The stay was great: room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the beach - amazing sunsets, jumping dolphins, etc. Room had comfortable beds, microwave, fridge. The pool area looked very clean. This is not a fancy resort, but had everything you need for a nice,... More

Just returned from here..........and after reading some reviews we were worried about what we might find, bugs, etc. None of this was true for our stay. If you are looking for a moderate priced resort on the beach, this is your place. It is not fancy, it is not the Hilton or Tradewinds or Don Cesar, but it is half... More

We had the unfortunate experience of arriving for a weeks break at the Doplhin Beach Resort in June 2007. We decided to have a relaxing beach break after spending a lovely week in Orlando in fab accomodation. Things were bad the minute you entered the shabby 70's retro decor with an unpleasant odour from the entrance hall. The staff however... More

We made an impromptu visit to St. Pete over spring break. We walked into the Dolphin and were helped immediately by Dave at the front desk. The price for the location was great. We just wished we could have extended our trip.

After reading the reviews here I was worried, but we experienced none of the problems listed here. The carpets were NOT damp, there was NO smell. The elevator did break down, but our room was on the 2nd floor and a short flight of stairs right down to the pool and beach. Yes, the halls are dark, but who spends... More

After reading some of the reviews, I wondered what sort of a hotel we had been booked into! We did not find a SINGLE BUG or insect anywhere ariound the room or facilkities. Our room was clean and spacious. Granted, the hotel is not new or glitzy, but the staff was helpful and friendly. We were there two weeks in... More

We arrived in St. Petersburg on December 30 and realized we had forgotten the keys to our condo at home. While waiting for their delivery by courier, we booked two rooms in the only hotel that had availability and an open office at 11:00 at night. The smell was terrible. Damp and musty smelling. There was a humidity problem in... More
