From the overpowering cigarette smell to the mildewed, corroded master shower, unit 301 was a terrible disappointment. Though the staff quickly brought in an ionization machine to remove the smoke smell, the smell lingered in everything and upon arrival home, even our clothing and luggage reeked of it. We stayed in room 501 which overlooks the gulf and had a wonderful holiday relaxing on the balcony and wandering down to the beach which it overlooks. The condo was well kept and clean. We just returned from the Gulf Strand and had a rather unfortunate experience. We originally booked unit #504 but were BUMPED to unit #203 because the owners decided to visit at the same time as our booking.
