The condos are very close to the fabulous St Pete Beach. We stayed in 504 in October 2013 and in 507 in June 2014 and both are situated in the Garden Building. 504 is a studio and 507 was a one bedroom. Both were modern, clean and well equipped with hd tv's, stereo, phone with free US calls and 507... More

Our Condo 1501 was clean and updated nicely, the air worked well and I liked it very cool (71). THE MATTRESSES ARE HORRIBLE, My back hurt all week. We had a private rear entrance through the fenced in patio which appeared to be unique to our condo. When trying to come in the front door, the hallway smelled of rotten... More

This resort is very close to the beach! Just a little 2-lane road separates the buildings from the sand. The owner of our unit couldn't have been nicer. However, the condo is managed by a rental company so any of my complaints aren't directed toward the condo owner himself. First off, there are 4 buildings split between 3 streets, 68th,... More

We booked our condo fairly short notice through the resort, not a 3rd party owner. They were very nice and helpful on the phone. In the email they sent it stated this room had a king bed and a queen bed. The king bed is actually 2 twin mattresses pushed together with a kind headboard stuck behind it. The sheets... More

We have been coming to St Pete Beach for many years and have found Gulf Winds a favorite place to stay. Having stayed in many different rooms and apartments it is essential to find the one that suits you. Some are old and well worn, others have too many dusty, fake plants (I have to hide them away!) but some... More

Older resort but great location and very clean. Beach is across the street from the resort. This part of the beach is quieter than the area about 5 minutes south. However, we did enjoy walking toward the action and sipping cocktails and dining at the great bars on the beach. We also met some very nice college kids on spring... More

This should not be listed as a resort - but instead a retirement condo unit - very quiet, older folks area but you can still walk to great areas. Beach directly across the complex is okay but the sand is not that nice - it's the end and has huge sand barriers in the water - just walk down the... More

This is an older building so some of the rooms have been renovated and upgraded and others haven't. We had a really negative experience the 1st night with the place we rented. I won't go into details but we went into the office and Teresa was amazing. She was quick to make things right and gave us another condo that... More

We stayed at gulf winds in December. Gulf winds is just over the boardwalk from The beach, and what a beach. The condo grounds are well maintained and staff are always on hand to help you with anything to do with the condominiums and leisure activities A great place and base to be in, ideally located, and a really good...
