Just returned from the Sirata. Stayed a week (4/24/06 - 4/28/06). Since we use this site to gather information for our yearly vacations I thought is was only fair to return the favor. HOTEL PROPERTY: Average: Clean and well landscaped. Attractive exterior. Limited parking. HOTEL LOCATION : Average: Publix short walk down the street. Plenty of rental car agencies. BEACH... More

Our family of four stayed at the Sirata from April 17th - 23rd. We booked the resort based on the reviews posted here, most of which were very favorable. We were nervous about a couple of the reviews which were negative, and after spending a wonderful week there, I truly do not understand how anyone could find fault with any... More

Just got back from the Sirata. Two familes, both stayed in the Exec Suites up on the 7th floor of the main building. View of the beach and gulf are priceless. Room, for as much as we were actually in them, was just fine. Everything worked, house keeping staff kept us in plenty of towels, rooms ALWAYS kept VERY clean.... More

The hotel itself is okay. Nice beach, decent pool, and I guess it depends on what kind of room you get because I could see that some of them were old and rundown, but the buildings w/ more floors were newer and nicer. We got upgraded for "free", and ended up getting charged for the oceanview in the end, which... More

Our family of four stayed at the Sirata for two nights (luckily no more) on April 1-3. I booked this hotel from their internet site and paid the extra for an oceanfront room. The exterior of the hotel itself was very inviting; however, the room had much to be desired. At first glance, it seemed like a nice-enough room, but... More

My husband and I stayed at the Sirata with our children ages 5 and 3. Our room was outstanding. It was extremely clean and the perfect size for us. It had a little bedroom with bunk beds and a DVD player for our kids, a king size bed for us, and a small kitchen. The housekeeping was absolutely outstanding!! Our... More

I stayed at the Sirata with my wife and two girls (9 and 6) from 3/1/06 - 3/4/06. We all enjoyed are stay at the Sirata. We stayed in a first floor, beach front room. Our room was an average room. A little dated, but clean. It was convenient to have a patio that walked out to the beach and... More

This resort is on a beautiful stretch of St Pete Beach. The hotel itself is just 'OK.' We paid for an upgrade to a beachfront king room and I'm really glad we did. Our room was clean, but very tired...curtains ripped, A/C falling apart (but worked). The view definitely made up for the room...we had a private balcony on the... More

My wife and I stayed at the sirata 28th january 2006 for seven nights and we throughly enjoyed our stay there and cannot believe the number of poor reviews this hotel receives. We had booked an ocean view room. The bedroom was spacious and the seperate lounge/dining area was well equiped with a large fridge, cooker, coffee maker and toaster.... More

We booked a suite. Although the room was of a reasonable size it was dingy, and not very clean. There were also no doors, except one on the bathroom, so we couldn't put our young children to bed and close the door. There was no buffet service for breakfast which we found disappointing, and we went off site to The... More
