Very nice place..for families! at least over the summer. With 3 pools they were filled with kids (loud) I would stay here again if I can travel during times when the kids are in school. The 2 out door bars were very nice but closed at 9pm It was beautiful weather and it would have been nice to have a... more

We asked for a Gulfview room and got a room that only had a view of the roof and if you got on tippy toes your might see the beach. Moved to another room 2 doors down and at least got a palm tree! We stayed at the Sirata because we heard the fireworks were phenominal for the 4th. We... more

This was our second stay at The Sirata. The Sirata is a large complex consisting of several buildings one of which is the convention center & rooms (high rise, 8 stories), and the others are lower rise (2/3 story ,motel type). The rooms in the convention area are hotel style, requiring inside access. Both of our stays were rooms in... more

We wanted to unwind after spending a week at Disney World, so we chose St. Pete Beach. We stayed at the Sirata for 2 nights. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and the pools were clean. For $99 a night on the beach, it wasn't too bad. Our room needed a major renovation. There was a mixup with our AAA reservation... more

In the middle of May, I went with a group of 15 girls to relax and party (celebrate my birthday). Our room was ok, although our air conditioner had leaked inside the room soaking the carpet. This was like this when we arrived. The maintenance staff did bring in a large fan to dry the carpet & replaced the AC... more

Not a long review here~~ just wanted to say that compared to the majority of what the St Pete beach hotels are like we really Love The Sirata. The executive suites are really worth the extra money and you can usually get up from the 5-8 floors so you have a magnificent view of the whole resort/beach/and Gulf! Both outside... more

We arrived at the hotel on a Friday evening and checked in at the front office. We then drove around to find a parking space and realized that it appeared to be the last available space - while we were unloading the car, we noticed several other cars driving around looking for spaces without luck. This turned out to foreshadow... more

Booked this hotel on the recommendation of a co-worker and was not disappointed. Very nice rooms and grounds, friendly helpful staff. Had a relaxed, almost hip atmosphere. I booked a traditional room, but they gave us a studio instead for some reason. That was a nice, unexpected bonus. Our room faced one of the pools, and Harry's Beach Bar, and... more

This is not a Family Resort as advertised. Turned out to be a Drunken Resort. Don't be fooled by the advertised statements of this hotel such as kid's under 12 eat free, "not always" sometimes the on site grill say's 10 and under or that does not apply, while the front desk tells a different story. Don't plan on going... more

We just returned from the Sirata. We upgraded for an additional $20 a night for a one bedroom suite. It was well worth the money. The standard room was your typical hotel room. 2 queen beds, dresser/desk and 2 chairs, no table. The one bedroom suite was actually the standard room with a living room/kitchenette added to it seperated by... more
