First, any of the good reviews on this site must have been written by the owners. Anyone that could spend money here and feel good about it, would have to be out of their mind. Start with the exterior. Some renovations look to have started years ago but have been left unfinished. There are piles of warped lumber with weeds... More

I stayed there last night. We go to St. George 2-3 times a year. Usually we don't stay overnight because we live only a couple of hours away. This was a last minute trip and with limited lodging on the island you have to take what you can get and I refuse to stay in that rat trap Buccaneer. I... More

Here's the deal. The place needs work and they're trying to get it done. What impressed me was they're actually using wood, not plastic or cement board prefabbed in some factory. This is timely and costly. If you're looking for an unpretentious quiet relaxing place to stay, you'll like it. Our room was quant, very clean and quiet. When we came... More

Where to start.... The bathroom was gross/filthy. When we asked for sheets and blanket, (for our own air mattress..because the hide a bed was disgusting), was told not sure if they had any to spare!! Housekeeping was non existent. Not sure if it was blood or chocolate smeared on our door. We were there four days and had to get... More

My wife and I spent four nights here last week on the third floor. The inn has some age but there is a good bit of update and construction going on and the owners are obviously making improvements. We were looking for a clean, working air conditioner, hot water and a comfortable bed. In all four of these areas the... More

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. It was just my boyfriend and I and we stayed in the Sunrise room. It was small but it was all the room we needed. Each room has a balcony w/ rocking chairs so we enjoyed sitting out there after a day at the beach. The location is great as... More

We spent two nights here with my daughter and two children ( 14 and 12 ). The island itself is a nice get away place, not fancy but good beach and available water sports. Restaurants in general just OK, but no complaints there. The inn just needs complete remodeling inside and out, apparently being done piecemeal by staff; a long... More

5 JUNE 2014 - what a total disappointment and I join several of my other travelers who have also echoed their disappointment, but I wanted to give it a chance. From the arrival to the departure it has been a disappointment. For the dollars I should have stayed in Apalachicola. Room was not cleaned - coffee not provided (unless we... More

Well let see... At check in the was a bare foot woman in the lobby of the hotel folding sheets with her teeth that had just come out of the dryer. While a free roaming dog rushed up to greet me in the lobby. The room where I was supposed to check into had two teenagers lying on the bed... More

Arrive at the Inn and no one to greet you but a child! Not even a hello! We felt like we came to someones home uninvited! It looked like a miss of a house! The child said let me get my mom! Unfinished home, looks like they have been repairing the home for years and money has been lacking! Get... More
