We stayed in one of the most expensive rooms, and it was disgusting. I complained in person, email and to my credit card, and had no response. I felt dirty after staying in this place. Everything stunk of mold and mildew. There were old liquor bottles under furniture and the room had not been cleaned or opened in months. When... More

We had a wonderful experience at the Inn! After a 13 hour drive, we arrived to find a less then acceptable room where we had reservations. It was 10 at night and we had no idea where to go! Luckily the Inn came up first on Google. Kayla, the inn keeper, said she had a room for us and to... More

I would like to let everyone know that our visit & stay here was very relaxing. We stayed in the Seahorse room, which was on the second floor by the outside stairs case. Yes, the room was small but very pleasant. The room was clean, with a hot shower and the staff was very, very helpful. If I needed anything,... More

We have stayed at the Inn twice, both times on the third floor in the Suites. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are non-existent. The hotel is in need of a complete overhaul, which they are slowly working on. The location is great & the price reflects that. It's basically an old mansion converted to a hotel. If you want... The place was overpriced not real clean not very well kept up and I would not recommend it to anyone. The outside looks very nice from the front but it appears to have been in the process of renovation for several years the chairs outside were filthy you couldn't sit on them there was paint and ladders to step over... Booked a room for a quick overnight stay while making our way up the coast. Just looking for something clean and safe, but this is not the place. First, the room was very old and unclean. Second, the door to the porch, which can be accessed by anyone, would not shut or lock. The extra pillows and sheets were not... More

I was extremely hesitant about SG Inn due to all the negative reviews. When we drove up, I saw a nicely painted front exterior and on first impression, gave a sigh of relief. The interior has not caught up with the improved exterior, but they are working hard on it. Our room was on the 2nd floor with a lovely... More

We stayed four nights at the St. George Inn during the first week of February. The hotel is right on the main road back to the mainland, so it is noisy. The Inn is being refurbished, but that is not a big problem other than having bed frames on the second floor landing. The biggest problem was house keeping or... More

We stayed during the week of May 24 to May 31 on the Island and at the Inn. The staff were wonderful there. We did not have any complaints about the place at all during our stay and will return there again next year. We love the Island itself and everything was pretty much within walking distance, or you could... More
