We had a nice large room with a fabulous view of the ocean from our second floor, double window. The room included a microwave, frig, coffee maker and hair drier. The beach at St. George is spectacular. I wish I could say our room was too. The mattress on the bed was so uncomfortable and aged we decided not to... More

Yes the Buccaneer Inn is dated but the only game in town for a short stay. The folks there are friendly and work with you....we like room 224 upstairs looking at the water. I don't mind the dated Inn for a short stay. Glad there are no high rise hotels on the island.

I love the location! For an old property its in good condition. Gulf is a stones throw from rooms. Nice pool and great shaded deck to see the water. Only had 2 issues. 1 room wasnt ready until almost 4 with a 3 pm check-in (i know they were busy). 2 carpet in room was atrocious with wear holes(literally holes)... More

The place is right on the beach! Rooms are spacious and clean, but the carpets needs some help! Is just a hotel beach and had all we needed. Service at the front desk was quick and courteous. The area around the Hotel is clean and is a short walk to restaurants. Thank you

So we plan a trip to the beach and the sun decides to hide behind the clouds the whole time. Given the less than stellar weather it didn't seem worth it to spring for a beachfront accommodation. Room #224, the room next door to us had a large picture window with a view to the ocean. Unfortunately the public walkway... More

Nice place. Rooms good size and mostly updated. Staff really nice and efficient. Location good. Everything worked with no issues. Very clean. Easy beach access. Would definitely stay here again. Reasonable prices. Tiki bar within walking distance.

This is an old hotel, it has been here forever. Large rooms, clean, well kept for its age and located right on the beach. I've stayed here many times in the past and will return again in the future. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Building 5 is the best of the buildings.

Complex of buildings. Separate building has private ocean front balconies with walk in showers. We stayed in main building in an ocean front room with a huge window looking out over ocean. Room 224. Room 224 has a walk in closet which I had never seen in a motel room before and it was the largest motel room. If you... More

We usually stay in a house but decided to try the inn since we were only here for a few days. The only thing I can say is: You get what you pay for. Looks like they are trying to update parts of the hotel but we stayed in a very old room that needs some serious repairs. We had... More

Called today to make reservations for two rooms for mid-week nights in January. Was told I could make a reservation, but she could not tell me what the room rates will be January. I asked if she could call me back when she has the rates, thinking she just needed to check with a manager, and then she told me... More
