My family and I spent an extended week end at Hampton Inn in Saint Augustine, Florida. The accommodates were very good. The staff is friendly and glad to help. The hotel is not very large but it has an excellent fitness room, out door pool and offers free breakfast.

Third time staying here. I always stay at this hotel when in the area. Hidden gem. Close to everything, clean room, nice free breakfast, great cookies at night. Shout out to Chris the manager who was great on the phone, and to "Cookie Monster, Panda Express" Sean at the front desk who put us in a great room on the... More

We are frequent Hampton inn guests and can count on the chain for clean rooms, fair rates and good value. This location falls below that standard. Let me first say that the staff was very accommodating, courteous and friendly, and the lobby and common areas are very nice. While it's an older building, it's been renovated and these areas are... We were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel kept our room clean and the staff was very accommodating. We stayed for four nights and I liked that the hot breakfast was different each morning. It looks like the hotel was recently remodeled as well. We have stayed here previously.

I usually stay at a Hampton Inn, this hotel was old and tired. The bathroom wall had some strange stain, and the couch was so uncomfortable we had to use pillows in order to not be seated at a weird angle. The bed was super comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. If I return to St. Augustine, I... More

Staff IMPECCABLE! My life partner and I wanted a close to home getaway and love St Augustine! On the drive down we stopped at Kings Head British Pub for lunch.. definitely a must do. Its out of the way on US 1 and worth the detour from the highway. Got to the hotel and were greeted by a wonderful front... More

Terrible mildew smell in room. Understaffed front lobby. Way too much chlorine in pool. Breakfast food almost inedible. No mini fridge in room. Well over a mile from the historic district. Room AC not functioning properly. Uncomfortable and old beds. Basically --- a way overpriced Motel 6. Won't stay here again.

Another Hampton Inn, another case of it pretty much "does what it says on the tin", and a bit more besides! Jewel in the Crown was Chris, on Reception, who gave us a warm, friendly welcome and helped with booking a couple of trips. We were only going to be in St Augustine for 24 hours or so and needed... Could not rave more about the helpful staff- look for Sean and expect to be wowed. As I was on business, my family was sent to the best locations for sight seeing by this informative local front desk employee.

St Augustine is so full of history & can be really expensive to be close to the historic district. This Hampton a Inn has recently been remodeled and is nicely decorated inside. The lobby is pretty small for a Hampton Inn, about 1/3 the size of most (again, prime location = small space). The check-in area is combined with the... More
