I usually stay at a Hampton Inn, this hotel was old and tired. The bathroom wall had some strange stain, and the couch was so uncomfortable we had to use pillows in order to not be seated at a weird angle. The bed was super comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. If I return to St. Augustine, I... More

Staff IMPECCABLE! My life partner and I wanted a close to home getaway and love St Augustine! On the drive down we stopped at Kings Head British Pub for lunch.. definitely a must do. Its out of the way on US 1 and worth the detour from the highway. Got to the hotel and were greeted by a wonderful front... More

Terrible mildew smell in room. Understaffed front lobby. Way too much chlorine in pool. Breakfast food almost inedible. No mini fridge in room. Well over a mile from the historic district. Room AC not functioning properly. Uncomfortable and old beds. Basically --- a way overpriced Motel 6. Won't stay here again.

Another Hampton Inn, another case of it pretty much "does what it says on the tin", and a bit more besides! Jewel in the Crown was Chris, on Reception, who gave us a warm, friendly welcome and helped with booking a couple of trips. We were only going to be in St Augustine for 24 hours or so and needed... Could not rave more about the helpful staff- look for Sean and expect to be wowed. As I was on business, my family was sent to the best locations for sight seeing by this informative local front desk employee.

St Augustine is so full of history & can be really expensive to be close to the historic district. This Hampton a Inn has recently been remodeled and is nicely decorated inside. The lobby is pretty small for a Hampton Inn, about 1/3 the size of most (again, prime location = small space). The check-in area is combined with the... More

I have allergies and sensitive to smells. The hotel was very clean and loved the new remodeling. It was a very comfortable stay. The beds, to include pillows were so comfortable and fresh / clean. The entire room was very clean. My daughter was with me and commented how much better the beds, etc., were than her recent stays at... More

We were pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was after disappointed stay at expensive Hilton De soto Savannah. You get your money's worth with hot breakfast and fresh baked delicious cookies after 5 pm. The tour trolley stop is a short walk away. The entire facility was very clean, and staff were very helpful and courteous.

Our experience began before we even booked this hotel. Sean K was professional on the phone and provided the info I needed to choose this hotel. Upon checking in, Sean was working again and was as pleasant as ever. He provided a safe place to store our bicycles; a few days later, he was there w/ towels as we rode... More

Over all we had a great stay(we stayed a couple of nights.) the location is great, they had deliscious cookies in the evenings and great breakfast in the mornings.
