The room smelt like mold had been growing in there for years,it was filthy, A/C noisy, bed sheets with cigarette holes and bugs everywhere, in other words a complete disaster. I was not able to stay and had to go somewhere else. The whole room looked like the set of a bad horror movie, stains and all. more

We stayed four nights at this hotel and although our stay was not memorable it wasn't too bad either. The staff is nice and helpful. There were rolly pollies in the bathroom area which visited us every morning and roamed around until evening. We got Oust spray and a Renuzit gel to help w/ the musty smell; the smell got... more

The room smelt like mold had been growing in there for years, I wore my flipflops the whole time even in the shower. The boxspring was covered in stains the carpet was dark green but who knows what was on that. The whole room looked like the set of a bad horror movie, stains and all. more

The Alhambra Inn is an older motel, perhaps built in the 70's judging by our room's decor of green bath fixtures and dark and dated cabinetry. The room was oversized compared to what you typically get in motels nowadays. Although obviously old and dated inside, our room was VERY clean. That's important to us so we were happy with that... more

We stayed in one of the Jacuzzi suites. This is an older hotel with has kept some of the better "retro" touches. The pictures online match the room. Clean, big, two tv's one with working dvd and vcr players. Nice toiletries, no need to bring most of our own. Our room was at the end of the corridor and most... more

This hotel was way above what we were expecting. First off, it is located directly off of SR 1. There is everything that you will need right off of that road, and also it is a great route to use to get around the traffic of downtown St. Augustine. There is a CVS directly across the street which came in... more

My husband and I are members of Corporate Lodging and I had booked the Alhambra Inn for a 1-night stay in St. Augustine. I had some trepidation though after reading some of the not-so-flattering reviews. My fears were unfounded. Even though it is evident the hotel was built in the 70's, it is well maintained. The rooms were very clean... more

Hi, well its not the best place in St. Augustine to stay, but the rooms are comfortable and the staff is WONDERFUL. We come here twice a year for The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind. We stay at the Alhambra because it's prices are good and the School is just around the corner. IHOP is across the... more

At check-in a imprint of my credit card was made. At check-out I decided to pay cash, and asked the clerk for the imprint, he stated that he could not find it, so I settled for a payed receipt. When I received my credit card statement they had billed for the amount already paid. I have written the management and... more
