I was a little nervous after reading some Trip Advisor reviews, but I absolutely loved this hotel. I had a FABULOUS three-night getaway with friends during the month of July 2009. The location is fantastic and in walking distance to everything. It's really close to some fun nightspots... Cellar 6, A1A and Tradewinds. The staff was amazing. Probably one of... more

My wife and I are frequent leisure travelers and this year spent our 32'nd anniversary at the Casa Monica where we booked a "Premium" room. This hotel is part of the Kessler Hotel group, which includes some very fine, upscale hotels. Casa Monica is the dead weight of the bunch. • The photograph that accompanies the room description on the... more

Traveled to St. Augustine for business conference/vacation with family. The hotel was outstanding. The rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel is in a historic building, but has been modernized very well. The location can't be beat. You are within walking distance of all things in historic downtown St. Augustine. We didn't need our car all week. We... more

We bid on a room through priceline and got a reservation for a "European Room". The room was about the size of most American rooms, with a king bed and 4 star furnishing, just what we expected. We had done our research before bidding and knew there would be a $14 resort charge and $25 parking, and bid accordingly. We... more

First the good, it is in a good location and it is a historic property. Now the rest... Though historic, the renovations are very tacky and akin to Disney World, so don't expect much in that department. As a caveat, I work in the hotel business and we own many upscale hotels throughout the US. I understand the importance of... more

If you are looking for the most upscale adult hotel in Saint Augistine, I would say this one is it. (we have stayed at the Hilton and the Casa Monica was more charming and had a better location) I would recommend this hotel, for business travelers, Couples looking for a romantic destination weekend, or singles. We traveled here with our... more

My husband and I stayed at the Casa Monica this past weekend for our wedding anniversary. Here are some observations that may be of assistance to you. Valet is $20 a day but worth it because historic St. Augustine is a very walkable town. It was nice to just ditch the car for a few days! There is a pay... more

My recent experience at the Casa Monica Hotel was a total nightmare. I would not have believed the awful service if I did not see it for myself. My fiancé and I stayed at the Casa Monica on Saturday, May 30, 2009. This was our first overnight stay at the Casa Monica. We frequently dine at 95 Cordova, but usually... more

I had watched a T.V. travel program some time ago where the Casa Monica Hotel was one of the featured hotels for Florida travel. The hotel looked so beautiful. St. Augustine was soon to be one of our destinations. I booked our hotel room thru Travel Zoo because of the good value and the additional resort fees waived. My boyfriend... more

I have always loved to stay at Casa Monica, but this time, I was so disappointed. First of all, there are now extra hidden fees. An extra $30 in fees for business center use and unlimited access to the in-house gym, etc. Second, we were promised a complimentary bottle of champagne but were given a much less-expensive bottle of merlot.... more
