Recommended by a friend who is an experienced rv'er. We had a wonderful time and the staff was so helpful. We had lunch and dinner at aunt Kate's, also owned by the park. We have already booked again and look forward to our stay. River is on one side with dock for fishing and ocean is on other side just... More

We found this gem years ago and look forward every year to staying there again. We prefer the smaller back in sites but they do have a lot of rather large pull-thrus. Water, sewer, electric and cable have always worked perfectly. The sites are mostly a sandy texture. Most sites are separated by local vegetation so there is a fair... More

Son in law drove down the oak -lined sandy lane and said "I love this already" and we all agree. Spacious clean sites, laundry, clean bath houses with nice water pressure, a pool, quiet at night, close to shops and downtown but mostly...the ocean and the river just a half mile apart. Beautiful beach. Not crowded. Will most def return.... More

This is a great RV park if you want easy beach access. We were in site 154 which was very close to the Tolomato River. (intracoastal waterway) There was a fishing pier and a private beach just yards away from our site. Very quiet area. Hopped on our bikes with our pup and headed to the Atlantic Ocean side and... Due to weather we had to cancel our trip at the last minute. I explained I understood the 1-night non-refundable deposit policy for the late cancellation, but asked if we could have the deposit credited to the date of our rescheduled trip. I was told flat out no, its a strict policy. I indicated I understood I could not get... More

This one is interesting. It is right across the road from the sea with easy access to that via the private access and at the back of the property is a fishing dock. The uniqueness is apparent when you pull through the gate after registering and are headed to your site....a tunnel of oaks literally creates a full canopy over... More

We have not yet camped at North Beach, but are booked for a week in September during the 450th anniversary of the.founding of St. Augustine. Having just camped in an "old Florida" site in Bahia Honda State Park at Big Pine Key. We had only water and electric hookup and had to take our trash to the dumpster. We are... More

My wife and I are newbies to the RV world, having purchased a new 20' Travel Trailer less than two weeks ago. This was the second place we have stayed in it. Lots of amenities that aren't really used all that much. Nice pool. Just across highway A1A from a lovely beach. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. Small... More

The ocean is "out front" across the road. The sites are "mostly shaded" as also advertised, although the foliage is very dense around most of them, which precludes seeing a sunrise without a walk to the ocean or seeing a sunset without a walk to the river. Not necessarily bad things, but something to keep in mind. Our biggest issue... More
