This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at the St. George Inn and it continues to be my favorite place to stay in St. Augustine. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, the staff friendly and helpful and it is right in the heart of Old St. Augustine. The European breakfast is quite adequate to start... More

Returned to the St Augustine area this year and chose to stay at the St George Inn. This hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy all that St Augustine has to offer. Walk along St George street with all of the shops and restaurants. Walk across the street (A1A) and visit the Fort. The rooms are spacious and very... More

Great location right on St George street. Our room was right across from a bar/restaurant. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening and listening to the music. View is obstructed by Palm trees. The room was fine, like a comfortable room in someone's house. I just don't feel the accommodations and the breakfast offered justify the price. The... More

If you want to be in the middle of it all, then this place is the place to stay. You can park your car in the public garage ($5.00 a day with hotel discount. $12 a day normally). It IS on the main street in the historical section and there ARE some bars that play live music in the evenings,... More

On its brochure the St. George Inn describes itself as having "the personal service and friendly ambiance of a bed-and-breakfast with the privacy and elegance found in a boutique hotel." It had neither. I have stayed in plenty of B&B's but never in one that offered a very basic continental breakfast in a hallway, approximately 8 feet wide, with cramped... More

First of all, it rained the whole day that we were there, which didn't help much. We were greeted at about 9:30 am and was asked if we would like to check in and see our room. The room was average but had a nice view of Castillo De San Marcos and St. George St. Our room wasn't very sound... More

My wife and I deceided to escape the New York winter for a week, we have never been to St. Augustine before so we counted on a online reviews and a little luck. St. Augustine was great but so was this hotel, the location is perfect, the staff is friendly, breakfast is included, there can be a little street noise... More

Every staffer was courteous and pleasant, the continental breakfast had good coffee and delicious fresh breads as well as standard breakfast fare. We had three rooms in one mini hall on the 3rd floor. The rooms were spacious and clean, and beds comfortable. They were very family friendly as we had 2 tweens and a toddler with us. The only... Perfect location in old town area. Fun walking the old roads to restaurants and attractions, including the old fort. The staff were very nice and pleasant and the complimentary continental breakfast was basic and good with a variety of baked items. - HOWEVER - ** Floors were unforgivably dirty when we arrived to the room. (It appeared it had not... More
