Eclectic place with its own flair. Friendly staff. So close to everything. Spacious rooms. Nothing fancy - just fun. Kids can hang out in family room. You can store anything you like in room's mini fridge or in the kitchen fridge/freezer. Kids loved the bunk beds. Pancakes were awesome.

The building is old, but very nice decoration.....love the pancakes in the morning, clean, the beds are very standard but works.....consider that they dont have elevator and the stairs are pronunced and can be difficult for people with movility problems

Comfortable, and in a great location. The rooms are themed in the most awesome and cheesy way, making this budget B&B more fun than the other available choices. Our room could have used a more thorough cleaning (hair in the shower, random things from other guests under the bed) it was still a wonderful fun place to stay

We only stayed here one night, but it was a good one! We booked a dorm room, but we got a private room because it wasn't very busy in the hostel. I loved the decoration of the room. It was just like we were snorkeling under water. With the blue walls and huge Nemo on the couch. The room was... More

We had a wonderful sleep overnight in this superb hostel and enjoyed decent coffee and freshly made pancakes. It is bang in the middle of the tiny historic district which Cori made even more navigable with his really helpful overview. He was incredibly knowledge smart and funny and really enriched our stay. We've been missing good travel advice on this... More

I've been to the Pirate's Haus Inn once before. Both times it was a memorable experience. My 16 yr old loved it so much the first time, she asked for it by name for her sweet 16 getaway. It has a relaxed family atmosphere with books and old fashion board games for the kids. In the morning there's an all... More

My family and I have been visiting the Pirate haus for years. The accommodations are very basic, but, the location and people are great! The owner Conrad and his helpers are very friendly and offer a lot of information about the area. You can walk to all of the historic areas in St. Augustine which is a huge plus as... More

I stayed here in August with a group of friends. We got the Captains Room and it had plenty of space for 7 people. It was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were helpful and offered great advice on the places to see ( and avoid) in St. Augustine. They also make great pancakes in the morning. The... More

My friends and I split a room here and we were amazed by the location. It could not be more perfect for a trip to the Old City and everything was in walking distance for us which was great. Parking was difficult, but once we figured out the scheduling with the garage it was much easier. Granted, the garage is... More

This is what it is like staying with old friends that are glad you came, at least this what I imagine that is like for people with friends. Quant, quirky, rustic and whimsical this is not a sterile corporate joint where you can wake up wondering if you are in California or Alabama, this is one of a kind. I... More
