Have stayed at Conch numerous times. This may have been my last visit as we had a 'suite' which includes two full sized beds; old couch, a bathroom designed for munchkins, inferior cleaning, kitchenette that has just a microwave are the minus's. Plus's....close to the water, easy cab drive to old St. Augustine, good restaurant and a well operated marina.... More

The lounge and restaurant with the Tiki huts were as pictured on the websites. However the restaurant did not open for breakfast until 11am. We were sightseeing around St. Augustine and surely did not want to waste time eating until then. The rooms were clean but the entire hotel is very dated and certainly not what was pictured on the... The Conch House Hotel/Restaurant/Marina is a casual hotel five minutes from the Historic Downtown of St. Augustine. The hotel is clearly a step back in time. We had a little suite that was comfortable, but very dated. There is a sign in the kitchen that tells you the cabinets are from a 1940's design (and updated about the same time).... More

This is a really weird place. The kitchen and bathroom were all original 1950s, which might have been ok if they'd been well maintained, but the grout between the tiles was blackened with time and dirt for example. And frankly 50s plumbing isn't up to today's standards - the shower was hopeless, and so low that I couldn't comfortably stand... More

The Conch House has the Marina, the Motel, and restaurant...all a step back into time and lots of fun. From full-service kitchenettes to simple overnight stays, The Conch House has it all. It is not a high end stay but it is a well-hidden and fun place to rest and relax...enjoy the sites and sounds of St. Augustine especially the... More

As a spontaneous stay, the overall layout was great. The restaurant has a limited menu being that they are in a prime location, but the jerk chicken was excellent. Very close to authentic Jamaican. The rooms need attention. Old but clean. Hampton Inn pricing for 50's Super 8 decor and quality. The bar was very nice, although they don't allow... More

We have been the Conch House 3-4 times now and we always have a great time. The food, drinks and service has always been awesome. We like to watch the charter boats come in with their catches. The annual Chowder Debate is a great time also. Don't miss it.

This is just a review on the restaurant, not the marina or motel. We have eaten here many, many times and also stayed in the "motel" three times over the years. This trip was truly disappointing. Just stopped in for afternoon drinks and an appetizer. Drinks were so-so and the blue cheese chips were just plain bleech. On the plus... More

We have wanted to visit historic Saint Augustine for some time and found the Conch House on line, and it looked appealing from the web site. Some of the reviews were a little "iffy" but we thought we'd give it a try. We were in room 2, and it really is like going back in time to a place you... More

Overall, I would rate this as Average. The rooms were very old and quaint, keeping with the "oldest city" theme. They were tidy, but needed a deep cleaning (the vents in the closet door were coated in dust). Our room had a kitchenette, with some unmatched dishes, a coffee pot, and dish cleaner. We had to ask for paper towels... More
