We're huge fans of B&B's, since that's all we stayed in, when we went to Ireland a couple of years ago. This B&B was smack-dab out of a UK travel guide, and plopped lovingly in the city of St. Augustine. The fact that they're from England, took us right back to our honeymoon, and that's never a bad thing. ;-)... More

Had a great 2 night break at the Penny Farthing Inn. A welcome break from 'modern' holiday accommodation. So full of charm. Marie and Betty could not have been more welcoming and helpful. It will probably be a long time before I spend an evening in a rocking chair with a glass of sherry! St. Augustine itself is a beautiful... More

This was SUCH a pleasant experience and was so happy to spend the several days I had with my wife in St. Augustine here for the evenings and for breakfast. The owner was SUCH a sweet lady from Yorkshire, England and ran a top notch B&B, complete with gourmet breakfast, a great room, and pleasant and helpful staff! I would... More

This was our second visit to Penny Farthing B&B. The first time was two years ago, and we loved it even more this time around! Marie and her staff are the friendliest and most down to earth people around. The location is perfect, and we were within walking distance of everything. The breakfasts were awesome, and the mid-afternoon snacks were... More

This was the perfect place to stay. Marie and her husband were the perfect hosts. Breakfast by Betty was delicious . Very quiet but just a few blocks from town. No need to drive unless u want to go over the bridge and site see. We can't wait to go back. We had a great time

Firstly a big thank you for the fantastic Yorkshire hospitality from owners Marie and Dave. We had stayed at this B&B eight plus years ago prior to the now owners purchasing the place. Then it was run down and in need of serious repair BUT now what a fabulous Victorian B & B. Very tastefully decorated in true victoriana style... More

This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast, we stayed a week which is longer than most people so I hope the owners didn't mind! It was clean, breakfast was amazing, good location.. about fifteen minutes from several different beaches. Owner was friendly, her son very nice and Betty was so sweet. I saw where someone in a... If you are a fan off B&B's you will be happy staying here. The rooms are comfortable and unlike most B&B's you could not hear the other guests. Location is perfect. One block Flagler College and the rest of the town. Everything is within 10 minutes walk.

Upon arrival, we were met at the door by a warm and friendly host, Matthew. He was eager and available to help with restaurant suggestions, and upcoming community activities. Ambiance of antique furniture and décor were done very classy with great taste. We stayed in the Tree House which was very clean. Small, which was fine for the romance of... More

This is a great B&B that is so close to the historic district, tours, shops, restaurants & Saint Georges Street. I had to do a lot of office work during my stay & I was soooo happy to enjoy the balcony while doing all my work on the laptop. I loved all the thought they put into this B&B to... More
