My husband, myself, and our (almost) three-year-old son stayed in unit 119. Overall, it was a nice stay. The unit was much smaller than I had originally thought. It consisted of a bedroom with one queen bed, a small bathroom, and a small living/dining/kitchen area. There was a pull-out couch, however, our son goes to bed much earlier than we... more

I had booked a weekend for my husband and I to spend a quiet and romantic vacation. It was not at all what I had expected and oh by the way since each condo is individually owned you will not know what you are getting by way of room style/decor/cleanliness until you get there. The room we had was terrible.... more

While all our rooms are decorated differently, we find that what one person doesn't like, another person loves. When it comes to finding the right suite for you, we suggest calling and speaking with a representative to find the suite that is just right for you. During busy holiday weekend, or with little availability, it is harder to switch a...

This is a hotel/condo is a great value. We had room 126, a first-floor king. There was an excellent view of the water - minus the beach. The desk staff called me by name both times that I was in the lobby and the housekeeping staff were very friendly and kept me stocked with fresh towels and linens. The beach... more

This is a condo hotel and the unit we stayed in was a 1 bedroom queen suite. I must state that it seemed more like a double bed than a queen bed. It was clean and had a nice small balcony to watch the sunrise over the beach. It's about 10 miles from historic St. Augustine. The only thing we... more

We went to St. Augustine, FL for a family Christmas vacation. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and the view was awesome. My kids loved the condo, especially the big plasma screen T.V. We were able to watch the New Year fireworks from our balcony. They were shooting them off at the... more

This is a clean place. It is not the newest or most upscale that you will ever see. There are dogs on the property and the beach. Everything went well with our stay except one problem. My wife and I wanted a few days away in a quiet place after the rush of the holidays so we contacted Beacher's about a... more

My husband and I decided last minute to spend a night in a hotel down at the beach to "get away" from the kids, pets, etc. We live here in Saint Augustine, and chose this hotel. We had a fantastic night here! We stayed in room 312, it was a very clean 3 room suite with a fully stocked kitchen,... more

We booked a room for two nights based on internet photos and some good reviews. We walked down dark dirty corridors littered with cigarette butts and dead bugs to our room. The room was at the far north end of the complex. The floor of the "suite" was not clean. The facilities were otherwise clean but the old unit had... more

The Beachers Lodge is a Condo/Hotel. It is older but well maintained. The front desk staff was excellent and informative. We enjoyed the swimming pool and walking on the beach. Our room had a balcony porch overlooking the ocean and we enjoyed sitting on the porch. Each unit is individually owned and our unit had some very uncomfortable broken down... more

We stayed at Beacher’s Lodge from 7/3-7/6 2008 (room 112). We found the office and housekeeping staff to be friendly. The housekeeping staff made the bed, took out the trash, and exchanged the towels daily. Our room, while comfortable, did not appear to have been recently renovated. The only complaint we had was my wife noticed ants in the kitchen... more
