We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully kept craftsman bungalow on a quiet street. The rooms are really big, including the bathroom. We stayed in the Southwind which has a front entrance room with a day bed and kitchen bar with sink and fridge. Bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. We stayed two nights and wish we... Stayed just the one night in a cosy room with onsuite, but great bed you had to climb up into. Mine host Gibbs, was great - very friendly, knowledgeable & helpfull. He cooked a weird but very nice 3 course breakfast (from memory 1. pears poached in Arminac 2. thick slice of ham together with grilled peppers & a Spanish... More

This place is a hidden gem in the heart of St. Augustine. Several people we talked to hadn't heard of the inn. The room we stayed in was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Our breakfast was cooked by the owner Gibbs and it was delicious. While we ate, we chatted with the owner and hostess. Her name escapes... More

The Saragossa Inn is a beautiful home in a safe neighborhood. It is a hidden treasure. We arrived to a very clean room with an amazingly comfortable bed. They were all very welcoming to our "fur baby". Loved the staff- they are so personable and attentive to your needs. IF YOU GET ANYTHING from this review though, it should be... More

Our stay at the Saragoosa Inn was just fabulous. The Inn is located on a very quite street and just a few blocks from everything. Perfect for a nice relaxing weekend getaway. Our room was very large and very clean. The bed was super soft and comfy. The staff was excellent. They made sure that we felt right at home.... More

The quaintness of the Inn is heart warming. The staff is warm and inviting. The rooms take you back to another era with their antiques. Being a short walk to the historical area is a gift, just not to have to get in the car. Upon waking, the three course brunch is to die for. Gibbs has the chef's touch.... More

Thank you for your review. We are a small independently owned B&B operated in our 1924 Sears Craftsman home. We make every effort to have someone at home at all times; however, the full-time owner/manager/chef/innkeeper wears many hats and does on occasion have to leave home. You did in fact arrive prior to our official check-in time which is clearly... More

Stayed at the Tidewater this past weekend for two nights. Two other couples that are friends stayed in the Homewood (2 bedroom). I was very pleased with The Saragossa Inn, the staff and the attention we received. Gibbs made a very nice exception and waived the two night minimum for our friends that were not able to stay a second... More

I have visited beautiful and magical St. Augustine twice and both times stayed at the Sargossa Inn, just a couple of blocks from the hustle and bustle of the main historic area. The location is perfect, just two blocks to everything, but on a very nice quiet and quaint street that offers tranquility from the masses of tourists parading by.... More
