Wish I could remember the name of the room we stayed in, so I shall call it the pink room. It's located upstairs and faces the front of the house. The outside porch is so tranquil and lovely, I almost wanted to sleep on the porch swing! Since this B&B is located on a residential street it is very quiet,... More

We stayed in the Hideaway Suite which is actually a small apartment separate from the rest of the house. We enjoyed the extra space and privacy. The Alexander Homestead Inn is located within close walking distance to restaurants shopping and museums. I highley recommend it.

The house and room were beautiful, and so close to the historic district. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The owner Bonnie was so sweet, and she made delicious breakfasts! Overall we had a great time and would definitely go again.

Our first experience staying in a B&B, so we weren't quite sure what to expect. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was fabulous! We would definately stay here again if we are in the St. Augustine area.

Stayed 3 nights in Queen Anne room. Bed very comfortable. Enjoyed relaxing on private porch off the room with swinging bench and comfy chairs. All three breakfasts were delicious and the well-brewed coffee was appreciated. Would highly recommend Alexander Homestead and hope to visit again.

We also stayed in the lady Grace room, yes the bed is comfortable and the towels were good, but the room and bathroom leave at lot to be Desired , the whole room needs a good clean in the three days there the bathroom was not cleaned, only the towels changed. The breakfast can only be described as very strange... More

My husband and I were married here, almost 10 years ago. We just returned home from a visit there, and it was fun. The breakfast is a bit different than we remember, but there are still those little muffins we adore.

We stayed here before and the attention to detail was far better than our recent stay. We had reserved one of the downstairs rooms... Lady Grace and it was comfortable enough, a King size bed, a lock box, a little sitting area...but..it advertized having a whirlpool bath. The tub was indeed a whirlpool bath with jets, but it was NOT... More

Enjoyed the stay at Alexander Homestead, but I've stayed at St. Augustine B&B's before, why was this different? I figured it out and it's a matter of geography. Almost all of the B&B's in St. Augustine are on the main, busy streets; Cordova Street, Cuna Street, St. George Street, Marine Street, etc. Alexander Homestead is on Sevilla Street, a quiet,... More
