First off , I must mention that I NEVER take the time to write a review , but the stay was just too great not to share . My husband and I ( 35& 28 years of age ) decided to take trip to Saint Augustine last minute and we are so happy we decided to roll the dice and... More

Friendly, welcoming staff and great location. Short walking distance to town but on a quiet street. Good breakfasts. Lots of charm and character throughout the inn. Looking forward to a return visit soon!

There are just a few good things I can say about this bed and breakfast, those being its location to the historic district and restaurants (everything within walking distance), parking and plenty of hot water for showering. The house itself is lovely but tired looking and in need of repair, such as a good paint job and definitely a new... More

I finally completed one of my bucket list items of travelling to St. Augustine and staying in a B&B. I searched several online before choosing Southern Wind, and after my stay I realize I made a good choice. I was immediately greeted by Scott, one of the innkeepers, upon my arrival. He went over everything about the house and when... More

Scott and Donna instantly make you feel at home. We are so relaxed and comfortable every time we visit. We've been there twice and each time has been excellent. Only place we will stay in St. Augustine. Able to walk to almost everything in Old Town. Laid back and easy.

Booked this fantastic little place for Valentine's Day with my girlfriend and we were both very impressed. The inn keepers were amazing hosts, the breakfast was delicious, and the location perfect. There are many B&B's in this town, but we know which one to go back to.

My husband and I stayed a weekend at Southern Wind Inn to get away from our busy everyday lives and to celebrate our anniversary in a not so traditional way as staying at a chain hotel. Southern Wind Inn has the charm of an early 1900's historical home with all the comforts of modern life. They provided free Wi-Fi, cable... More

Had a lovely two-night stay at Summer Wind with hubs: we had a lovely, elegant and romantic guest room with a delightful jacuzzi tub, and the inn has cute balconies, historic ambiance and lovely decor, and a pretty outside porch for breakfast, as well as WiFi. It's in a perfect location in central historic St. Augustine for exploring the city... More

A family getaway within walking distance of Historic St. Augustine. Enjoy the historic charm of this B&B with hospitable staff/owners. Recommend the Veranda Room which connects to a public porch on the 2nd level. Felt the main breakfast entree could have been of more variety - it was like eating the same thing everyday.

Wife and I spent the weekend here for our anniversary. We've never been to a bed and breakfast before but we loved it. The room was clean and comfortable, the location was phenomenal, and the breakfast was delicious. Only downside was hearing the neighbors TV but at night that wasn't an issue. We can't wait to come back!
