I always give credit where credit is due. That being said, the Old Powder House is an amazing place to stay if you are visiting St. Augustine! The Owners, their hospitality, their staff, their accomodations, their proximity, and their parking are all perfect for making your St. Augustine visit the best experience it can possibly be. I strongly encourage you... More

run by lovely and interesting people. Suzanne and Bob do everything they possibly can to ensure that guests have a fantastic experience, even down to the (free) sherry, wine and coffee in the sitting room. They are warm-hearted and generous and Suzanne is a wonderful and imaginative chef producing very tasty and filling breakfasts. The inn is situated in the... More

We went as first time guests to the inn . We have had some strange and awkward experiences in the past with B&Bs. These folks made our wedding anniversary experience VERY MEMORABLE! The breakfast each day was amazing! The rooms were pristine and all the staff were friendly and efficient! Bob gave us great info to make our gastro and... More

Old Powder House Inn is an interesting B&B. It has many pros among which are location, cleanliness and extremely nice owners. The owners will certainly make you feel welcome. If you are going to this B&B you must keep in mind that it is a very old building. Like most B&B's it has been converted from a single home to... More

Very happy with our stay. Great location in the historic area. We parked the car & walked the beautiful streets & didn't want to leave. Very relaxing atmosphere & a wonderful breakfast. We will be back.

We were passing through on the way to Miami and driving around the Historic district looking for a hotel, when we came upon this lovely inn. Proprietors were very friendly and the place was charming. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda off our second floor room drinking our morning coffee. We were able to walk to everything, and had a... More

I don't normally write reviews, but my recent stay here was so wonderful that I feel the need to. Three of us stayed in the Garden room, and it was great for our needs. The porch outside our room was also wonderful to sit on and relax. And you really couldn't ask for a better location. There are several restaurants... More

This was my first trip to St. Augustine, was excited and a little nervous about staying at a B & B. However, upon arriving, we were immediately impressed with how beautiful everything was! The room was so cute and cozy. Anything we could need was already taken care of. After a delicious breakfast, we were looking forward to our day... More

We stayed four nights during Easter weekend and had a wonderful time. We spent the first day and a half just walking around the historical district, trying different restaurants, and people watching. The next two days were spent sitting on the beautiful beach at Anastasia State Park which is just a 5-10 minute easy drive from the inn. We enjoyed... More
