The St Francis Inn was the ideal place to spend my honeymoon. We could wander down late for a gourmet breakfast, lounge in the jacuzzi tub, enjoy the company of our fellow guests at happy hour... I could continue, but coming to the point, we felt very pampered and extremely comfortable with these nice people. At the recommendation of a friend, we booked a room at the St. Francis Inn. We were not disappointed. From the wonderful room to the incredible food, it was the welcome sabbatical we were looking for. Although the Inn is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants at the heart of St Augustine, it is far enough away from the tourist areas to be peaceful. Located in St. Augustine's historic district the St Francis Inn takes you back in time. It is quiet, comfortable and we found the delightful staff went above and beyond in getting information we needed. The warm and friendly staff not to mention the outstanding resident chief made our visit to St. Augustine truly special. Marvelous for adults of all ages . I felt like being on an island surrounded by trees , bushes and flowers - very relaxing and quiet , yet the beach, sightseeing , restaurants are just a few minutes away .
