Traveling down I-10 and instead of staying at the Hampton Inn on the interstate spent a few dollars more and stayed at this beautiful B&B. We walked the neighborhood and downtown after dinner. Very nice. If we had stayed at the interstate hotel we would have watched tv in our room. Learned a lot about the rich history of Quincy... More

We stayed two nights for a weekend get-away. We love historical B&B's and this one is stunning, with beautiful grounds and a big wrap-around porch with rocking chairs and a swing to enjoy the view. The hosts were very accommodating and the breakfasts were excellent. We look forward to staying there again.

I loved the McFarlin House! All the way down to the binder left in the room about the history of the place and turning it in to a B&B. Tina was a great host and really made us feel comfortable while there. The breakfast was great and really did have us full until lunch. I'll have to stay two nights... More

stayed here for memorial day weekend for bike race there, a couple of blocks away. Extremely friendly owner, great breakfast when I wanted it. Nice bed. I felt like I was the only one there, maybe I was. Cool old house with huge front porch to just sit and hang out if you want. Definitely beats the local hotels!

Best Choice I Have Ever Made! Quaint and Cozy, Warm and Fuzzy! Memories Made and Brought Back Some Old Family Ones that brought laughter and love to the room. I wish I could have stayed longer. Breakfast was AMAZING!

We spent 3 nights at the McFarlin House to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. An exhaustive search for just the right 'retreat' led us here, and we were very pleased with every aspect of this B&B! The house is very spacious, well-restored, and comfortable. The woodwork is amazing. We barely saw any other guests during our time there, so we... More

We were married here in 2010 and the entire event was handled by Richard, who mastered every detail and ensured the satisfaction of all our guests, who nearly, if not filled every room. We returned last week for an overnight stay on our way through Tallahassee and the level of comfort and service equaled our first experience, from the late... More

We were only there for a night, would loved to have stayed longer! Amazing decor, ambiance, and history. Each room has a distinctive flair. The open porches and rocking chairs were relaxing. The breakfast was wonderful and served on china in the formal dining room.

We have been staying at B&B's for around 40 years, and it is the opportunity to converse with the owners and guests that we find most appealing. Richard and Tina couldn't have been better hosts and we truly enjoyed spending time with them. The house itself was beautiful, with many unique pieces. We stayed in Louise's Loft, a spacious, comfortable... More

A truly beautiful and historical bed & breakfast. They could no have gone any further to be great hosts. Honestly above and beyond expectations. The rooms were unbelievably gorgeous, the home was over 100 years old and decorated to feel and suite it's glory.
