We really enjoyed our stay in the Hunt Room, which was spacious and very comfortable. The house has a very interesting history, well described by Stuart. The property is obviously well looked after with some very nice touches for guests convenience. Breakfast was very tasty, we were offered more than we could eat, at a large table shared with other... Great welcome from Stuart & Eileen. The Governor's room was beautifully appointed, with a very comfortable bed ; clean & fresh bathroom. The breakfast was delicious - blueberry stuffed French toast with sausages, fresh fruit, juice, cereal, tea & coffee. We were fortunate in being the only guests. Luckily, the ghosts seemed to be on vacation, too, so no disturbances!

Quincy is a small Florida town located about 20 miles West of Tallahassee, FL (home of FSU and FAMU universities, as well as the capital of FL). The B&B is located about a block from the town center. The inn is old (over 100 years), and while the owners have decorated it nicely, it does have the typical problems associated... More

We stayed in Allison House Inn three nights. We arrived late night and all the instructions we clear and easy for us to get around. Every room is different and has its own style and charm. All rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is served at 830 - family style - freshly baked muffins. All the guests are dining together... More

The owner is very nice and friendly. Breakfast was great. The home is beautifully decorated. We stayed in the "Wicker Room" and it was so nice. I did not want to leave. It is a quaint old historic home. The owner was nice enough to take us on a tour and showed us the history in old pictures and news... More

We stayed at The Allison House for two nights, the innkeeper Mr. Johnson was very accommodating, we stayed in the wicker room. We enjoyed the fresh fruit and delicious selection of scones, and muffins, the history of the building and area were very interesting

We passed through Quincy on a long trip back to Miami after visiting New Orleans. Allison House was a great place to stop over and Quincy offered some great photo opportunities, the old town looked like a deserted film set from the 40's!! Ok so i get it, if you like power showers, room service and a ton of TV... More

We wanted to visit Tallahassee, but decided to stay outside in a smaller town. We were with friends, and wanted a decent dinner, and were sent to 'the best place in town,' where most things were fried. Our rooms were large and beautiful, but there was no parlor to sit with our friends and chat, so we perched on straight... More

We stayed at 5 B&B's during our 3 week vacation. Allison House Inn was easily Number 4 of the five. The innkeeper, Stuart Johnson could not have been less welcoming, gracious and interesting. We got vague directions for a dinner spot, that worked out OK. There was a seasonal thunderstorm, and when we returned from dinner, the power was out... More

I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused during your stay. Because of a power outage we do have lanterns in the guest rooms and I wrongly assumed you were using it and didn't want to disturb you. While you were asking for a flashlight, our cat inadvertantly escaped from our apartment due to the excitement. At breakfast time I... More

We had a lovely experience staying at the Allison House Inn in Quincy, FL. The accommodations were nice and clean, the furnishings and history of the inn were interesting and the breakfasts was delicious. The innkeeper was very pleasant and informative, also. Hope to return again some day.
