Worn down hotel in the middle of a paint and sparkle remodel. Don't waste your money here. The place is infested with ants. Found ants in the bed in the first room I checked into. Was moved to another floor that was not remodeled yet with buckling and stained corridor carpet, scraped wall paint along the corridor and musty room... More

A good and nice hotel, in front of the river and next to a beautiful public park, under major renovation with a new wing they are opening to public. The free breakfast is not so good but next to the hotel you have "Hurricane Charley" bar with an "all you can eat" breakfast for u$s 10.

Stayed here on Valentines night, as we were with a Big Ten Baseball team that was staying here. Checked in, arrived in room that was heavy with cigar smoke. Tried to call the front desk, no dial tone, despite all connections intact. Tried to find a plug to use for cell phone, and found significant amount of dust and grime,... More

Friendly staff, including the housekeeping folks. Clean rooms that were updated. Clean pool, although it was too cold for us to swim others were enjoying it. Nice view from the balcony. Beds were comfortable; pillows were small but still good. Ticky bar next door was nice addition and not too high on prices.

I was a bit concerned when we arrived. The lobby is tired as well as the hallways. I was concerned it was an indication of what our room would be like. But the rooms were updated and GREAT! Strange smells permeated the hallways. This hotels would get 5 stars from me if the lobby were updated and a better breakfast... More

We spent a week down here in August for a fishing vacation and was not let down. The room have just been remodeled and outfitted with nice beds and decor. The views from the room overlooking the harbor is awesome to wake up too. We will be staying here yearly from now on

Stayed one week. Beautiful setting, right off Rte.41. We visited friends in FT. Myers, North Port, and Burnt Store Marina. Location was handy to all. Only complaint was breakfast. Amounted to small, cold danish, coffee, and juice. There is a beautiful park with walkway and bike path that ends at Fisherman's Village. We would stay here again if visiting in... More

Just spent 3 weeks here and had a great time. The Front desk staff was very accommodating. After my first 2 nights, I Inquired about switching to a suite and was told no problem. I also extended my stay twice because we were enjoying our time in Punta Gorda so much. Nicole, the front desk manager was very accommodating and... More

Flooring, carpet and elevator were chipped, threadbare and needed paint. No shelves for towels near tub. Tub canted so water would travel around edge onto floor. How rediculous is this? The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. If you are spending $150+ for a hotel room, the hotel needs to invest in thier appearances.
