The staff was very friendly and helpful,The location was better than average. But the room we stayed in (unit #39) was overly tired and worn out. It was extremely dirty as well. It didn't appear that a deep cleaning of the room had happened since 1977. Yes the year they opened. We were told they had been recently updated. To our... More

This is a funky, old-Florida place. If you enjoy this style, you will enjoy this place. Very large 2 bedroom apartment was decently furnished. The appliances are older but in good order. The only little gripe I had was there were no decent knives, just flimsy ones. Would bring one next time. This is in an excellent area, near historic... More

Traded a week on RCI. The condo is large enough for 6 to be comfortable. Has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a loft with a futon which my teen loved. Good size kitchen well appointed. Balcony over the bay which we enjoyed using for sunsets and watching the wildlife. The only negative thing was 1 bathroom for 4 people.... More

Stayed during the pirate festival when you think everything would be noisy. Well most every thing was pretty peaceful at night. During the days around the center stage can be loud but you should expect that. If you are on the other side of your villa it's pretty quiet. Everything closes downstairs around 6, 8 on Sat. so after that... More

I just spent 6 days at this resort and I have thought long and hard on how I was going to review it. First, I have to say I was in unit 46 which is the 2nd unit from the end , very close to Harpoon Harry's, (A bar/restaurant)When I found out where I was going to be located I... More

I had the most enjoyable vacation at the Fisherman's Village Villa's in Punta Gorta, FL. Everything is on site, you do not have to leave to have a good time. The Villa's are older but kept in very good shape and clean. There are stores and restuarants on site. You can rent a boat, go on a charter fishing trip,... More

I visited the Fisherman’s Village Resort in June of 2014 and found it to be a very good experience. As you may have read prior the villas/rooms sit on the second level of a wharf, above the shops and restaurants. Having not been to Punta Gorda before, the lay-out proved to be a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Check in was... More

We thoroughly enjoyed this resort. It is set on Charlotte Bay facing the bay on one side with the marina on the other. There a several restaurants as well as a myriad of very nice shops on site. Both are excellent as they are not "tourist trap" businesses. There are also cruises on Charlotte Bay including a sunset cruise. The villas... More

The villa was VERY spacious, and our view over Charlotte Harbor on the marina side was beautiful. With all the villas on the second level and the restaurants and unique shops on the first level, we could easily stay happy without leaving the property, although we did venture out a few times (to nearby Elena's for breakfast and to the... We had never been to Punta Gorda and Fisherman's Village a very nice place to stay. It was unique having a Mini Shopping Mall right below where we were staying. There was a good selection of Shop as well three local restaurants. The unit was very spacious and in excellect condition, very clean and up-to-date. We would stay there again.
