Lisa at the front desk goes above & beyond to make ones stay as close to perfect as possible. She is pleasant & cares if you enjoy your stay. Could pay a little more attention to detail cleaning such as blinds in bathroom dusting, & some carpets have spots......it's beyond me how people come places, spill stuff & leave it... More

Bed was comfortable enough and sheets were clean. Carpet was dirty. Bathroom needed sprucing up. Lobby smelled like bacon at 4:00 in the afternoon. Not very impressed overall. They need to spend a little money sprucing up the bathrooms especially the tubs. Need new carpet. If they improve the ventilation in the restaurant they could get rid of the bacon... More

I booked a 2 bedroom suite for 1 night since the movers for my new home were not arriving until the next day. The inn is across the street from the bay, 1 short walk to a wonderful seafood restraint, and was wonderful. The linens were highend, coffee pots with pods all over the inn, and quality in every corner.... More

You can't beat the location. Our room was very large but only one chair. The carpet was dirty and needs replacing. We had to clean the dirt from the outside table and chairs in order to use them. The outside chair on our traveling companions patio was broken and the outside lights didn't work. It's time to update the rooms... More

Travelled 7hours from Ms. In torrential rain, the sight of the Port Inn sign was a welcome relief. The accommodations were superb and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Lacey in the Thirsty Goat helped us relax with wonderful service. The morning breakfast sustained us for the 5hour drive home. Make a reservation you won't regret it.

Every staff person we encountered had personality plus which makes it easy to understand why you feel so at home at this hotel. This is an older hotel with rooms that are well maintained and appointed. The complementary breakfast is over and above the chain experience. On premise bar well stocked and a great way to end the day.

On a road trip along the Gulf Coast we were trying to find a special place to stop for the night....and we were very happy to have found this one. The Port Inn is a comfortable, clean, nice find in an out of the way place. We stayed in the main hotel not in the cottages. The bed was very... More

We enjoyed our visit to the port. We walked across the street and visited the little park and fed the sea gulls then walked down to the gazebo and found where we (along with many others) carved our initials into the wood over 30 years ago.... don't judge we were very young and in love :D Although the inn was... The main hotel and staff are very nice however the cottages are located on a very busy state highway, are very close together and are very noisy. This of course is not shown in the photos or explained when booking. No one would stay there if they new what was going on. While we may stay at the hotel we... More

Nice welcome from hotel staff. The 1st room (Queen) we got was noisy due to ice machine next door. In the 2nd room the window was broken and not closable (at 35°F outside temp) and air condition module on the roof directly in-front of the window very loud. In the 3rd room the air condition made rattling noises at the... More
