A real nice place to stay. Close to everything in the town, and has a great bar. Rooms were very nice. The noise from Route 98 is a factor, but I would not let it stop from staying there. Very relaxing place to stay!

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at the Port Inn. Great location, the room was very nice, all of the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful! I highly recommend it to anyone heading to this area.

We spent three nights in the Presidential Suite and it was well worth the extra cost. The bedroom in the suite is toward the back of the inn so it is quieter than the rooms facing the street. Everyone we met who worked in the inn was so very nice and accommodating. The inn is close to the main street... More

Recently my husband and I stayed overnight at the Port Inn in Port St. Joe FL. We were most impressed with everything about our stay. Lisa, who was at the desk, was so personable and helpful during our stay. Debbie was an angel. What a positive attitude she had! She not only was cooking and serving breakfast, but also was... More

As always the Port Inn is one of the best kept secrets on the Gulf Coast! We love staying there and the staff is superb....one of the reasons we keep going back. Amelia and Lacey at the Thirsty Goat Lounge make some killer Margaritas and really make you feel welcome. Step back in time 40 yrs and enjoy Port St... More

Greeted by friendly staff and very clean, comfortable room. Private front porch with rocking chairs perfect for watching the sunset or enjoying our morning coffee. The adjoining bar, The Thirsty Goat is fun with live music and drink specials. Perfect location in Port St. Joe within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, St. Joseph Bay and Marina! Weekend rate for a king size bed with front porch is $190/night plus taxes. This is an older building that current owners renovated so the rooms are small. Our ground floor room has a porch at front of building with rocking chairs and a small table with two chairs. Facility is nice, a small bar (with a good bartender) occupies... More

floridatraveler52, Thank you for your recent stay with us - we greatly appreciate you choosing Port Inn and for selecting our most sought-after and highest priced king suite with the private porch! Based on the extreme seasonal nature of our area there are certain weekends that command a higher nightly rate, especially for our three king suites with private porches.... More

After coming to Cape San Blas for many years and driving past the Port Inn, we finally had occasion to stay there. The room was tiny and the bed quite uncomfortable, but the overall stay was very nice. The hotel is quaint and nicer than you'd think from the outside. A wonderful breakfast buffet came with the reservation. Some of... More

nubis2013, Thank you for your recent stay with us at Port Inn! I'm glad you made the decision to give us a try after years on The Cape, and hope you'll return! I hate to hear that the bed seemed uncomfortable, though. We typically hear great things about our mattresses, but completely understand that we all have different preferences when... More

As was once depicted in a Seinfeld episode, they know how to take a reservation, but not how to keep a reservation. We received a call from John less than a week before our reservation that they were having mechanical difficulties with their A/C and were moving us to another hotel. All sounded fine and we were pleased they called... More

Morgan Family, I am sorry to hear how poorly your stay at Port Inn went. While there was miscommunication within our staff regarding your room and the air conditioner, our handling of the matter was subpar, and for that, I am very sorry. Because of the moisture in The Panhandle we take very seriously the issue of mold and have... More

We conducted a business retreat at the Inn. The staff was accommodating and ready to support our needs. The head housekeeper Lisa brought us coffee into the Board Room for our convenience. Miss Pat's breakfast is amazing. Cheese Grits, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links or patties, biscuits and gravy on the hot bar along with waffles, cereal and continental breakfast... More
