We just returned from a relaxing week at the Sand Dollar Cottage behind the Inn. We wanted to find something out of the way and quiet but with enough for our family to do. This is a perfect spot with great hosts! The house is very comfortable and clean and doesn't feel like a rental. The porch was the perfect... More

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at this delightful B&B on the Gulf of Mexico. The inn is barely separated from the gulf beach by low grass-covered dunes. We stayed in a gulf front room which gave us a great view of the surf and the dolphins which were often feeding close to a spacious and uncrowded beach.... More

My wife and I spent a sundrenched week with Trish at the end of October. Trish is the perfect hostess, getting us started each day with a wonderful breakfast and finishing each night with wine on the porch watching the shrimpers work the Gulf, dolphins surf the waves and sharing great conversations with new found friends. This is the place... More

My husband surprised me with a stay here about two weeks ago for my birthday. It could not have been any more perfect! We arrived around 5pm, and were greeted at the door by Trish. She was sweet, helpful, and wasted no time getting us settled in. It was rainy outside, and we actually had the Inn to ourselves-which I... More

We stayed in Turtle Beach Inn for two nights in August 2013. We stayed in the main building on 2nd floor, one above the reception. We really loved our stay. The Inn is lovely maintained and decorated, a great location right at the beachfront and the beach is simply amazingly empty. It was a little off-season, anyway we almost everyday... More

My wife and I have been staying in bed and breakfast properties for 40 years, all over the world. We came to Turtle Beach Inn for a week and wish we could have stayed a month. Everything was perfect....service, food, location, facility...just perfect. This area is a forgotten treasure and we hope that it stays that way; there is so... More

We were nothing shy of impressed when we arrived at the Sand Dollar Cottage for our Spring Break trip earlier this year. We had car trouble and the owner graciously allowed us to check in late at night and left us a warm hand-written welcome note with instructions. The cottage was larger than we expected and only a stone's throw... More

We really loved this B&B. It was very clean and the room was cool and quiet. The beach was pretty empty and chairs, hammocks, etc. were provided for our use. The included b-fat was great and Trisha was very informative about the area and the restaurants around. It is about half way between a St. Port Joe and Appalachicola so... More

Highly recommend this b&b if you're looking for a relaxing getaway. The setting is lovely and the property is charming. The owner makes a tasty breakfast...we stayed two nights with French toast and fruit compote the first morning, and quiche the second. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. You won't be disappointed!
