We stayed a week at the Paradise beach resort, and we did have a good time, but as far as lodging, I will definitely spend the extra few bucks next time. We had no hot water for half the week! The hotel is in dire need of remodeling. The tiki bar was never open, and when it was, it was... more

A good bang for your buck! we have stayed here 5 times in the last 3 years and will return again YES, hotel and rooms are very dated and in need of a major remodel but balcony views from the pool ocean side rooms are second to none! breathtaking sunrises, decent pool and very close proximity to one of the... more

When my boyfriend and I and our two friends were deciding where to go on vacation, we based our decision on three main things: we wanted a good price, we wanted the hotel to be on the beach, and we wanted it to be in a good location with lots of things to do. Pompano Beach Resort & Club offered... more

The front desk people acted like i was putting them out at check in and out. The so called greek reastraunt staff were rude and i paid 5$ for a can of beer. If you want a good dining experience wander out a little their are some good reasraunts nearby. The hotel was rundown but you get what you pay... more

I must admit the reviews I read before booking were true, but...we did have a wonderful time. After all, you make your own fun, and all we intended to do was hit the beach and the pool all day. As far as those two requirements, the pool and beach are perfect. Yes, we also had a difficult time getting towels... more

We booked our trip last minute and wasn't to picky. We read the reviews and they were on both ends of the spectrum. Well here is the real deal. July '07. The resort is located on the beach. The pool is nice. My experience with the staff was good. They are stingy with towels and wash cloths though. If you... more

There is no justification for spending your hard-earned money here. I know it's cheap, and compared to many hotels in the area that seems like a good deal, but it's not. It's not just the reviews, the photos, or the fact that the place is old and hasn't been renovated since it was built. It quickly becomes apparrent that everyone... more

My overall stay: I Saved some money AND I stayed on the beach. 1) Keep in mind Florida had one of the worst hurricanes in 2005 (Wilma), and private places like this are still suffering from the damages(but no excuse for inside..) 2)Yes, some of the rooms might be old. Definitely not updated when it comes to "style", but if... more

I'm sketical about bad reviews because I know some people have higher expectations than others, so I let my better judgement run away and I booked this place to stay on the beach for the price (how bad could it be afterall?), but this place was even worse than all the bad reviews I read about before my foolish booking.... more
