I only live 20 min away from the Beachcomber Hotel and have come for a day to enjoy the beach before but never stayed overnight. This july 4th weekend my family and i decided to stay the weekend. We had an awesome time and everything was perfect! We arrived on July 4th at 11:30am and check in is supposed to... more

We couldn't ask for more! Great service, great room and great bartenders. I was a little nervous at first that it wasn't going to be right for us. It was that and more. A great family place. If you can affford it, ask for an oceanfront room, they are absolutely gorgeous. It is worth the couple extra dollars. The downfall... more

The hotel is very clean, relaxed and situated on a beautiful stretch of beach. We were concerned from reading older reviews, and these folks must have stayed somewhere else. We did not eat at the hotel, as travelling with two children under 6 yrs old it is difficult, but we did take out a pizza from Stingers across the street... more

You know how you see the pictures and think that the hotel won't stand up to those photos? Beachcomber Resort was all that and more. From the helpful and well intentioned hotel staff to the clean rooms and the beautiful ocean views, the Beachcomber was more than I could have hoped for. I travelled from New York to meet my... more

We decided to spend our last night in Florida in the Pompano/Ft. Lauderdale area rather than driving up from Key West the morning of our flight. I found a great deal for the Beachcomber on Travelocity and decided to book it. I wasn't sure what to expect based on some of the reviews and the rate but I could not... more

On a spur of the moment, I decided I needed a getaway someplace warm and beachy. Ran across a great deal on a air/hotel package at the Beachcomber and it looked just perfect, so I booked it. This place is a little gem, if you're looking for a quiet, casual South Florida getaway on the ocean. I booked an oceanview... more

We had 2 previous trips to this hotel while it was still a Best Western. Our condo has a tenant so we needed a hotel room for our 4 night stay in Pompano Beach. Although it is not a 4 star hotel, we like it a lot and it is a good buy for the money, which includes free parking.... more

This hotel isn't an upscale mega resort, it's a "boutique hotel." it's not in the tourist section, and it's quiet and cozy. At the pool today, we ran into this woman who's been coming to the hotel for over 20 years. It must be pretty nice for her to come to this same hotel for 20 years. From the moment... more

We stayed at the Beachcomber for 2 nights in April. The surrounding area didn't seem to offer much to do. We drove the 20 minutes to the Hard Rock Casino and also to Sawgrass Mills Mall. The beach is convenient, but crowded. The sand had a lot of trash in it. We enjoyed the pool bar, but would suggest going... more

I am not the type of person to write a review, but I just had to comment after reading some of the previous reviews. If I had listened to the reviews that I had read pror to my trip I would have cancelled my trip. Thank God I took notice but did not believe everything I had read because I... more
