I booked this hotel through another site. The pictures, comments and the supposed price that I was getting a discount on made me think it was a really nice hotel. It was just not what I was expecting. The Forum is a converted hospital. They lease space in the building to a dialysis center and Christian businesses and organizations. We... More

We were booked into the Forum by my father-in-law, who is living at John Knox Village across the parking lot. First I want to dispel a few of the bad review topics - there was no "funky smell" and the lobby and rooms did not "look run down." Our room was clean, the furniture while plain was nice on the... We enjoyed our time here; reasonable rates, quiet, clean, new linens, great service and conveniently located. (Business trip; from Dallas) Not in high traffic area, and had to drive approx 1 mile for restaurant choices, but found a decent selection.

This hotel is the best bang for your buck in the north FLL/Pompano area. The prices are a lot cheaper if you ask in the counter. They also offer extremely discounted weekly and monthly fees. Service is excellent, breakfast jasr pure orange juice and delicious bagels in it. Rooms were really clean. They offer more room options than the ones... More

Not so clean at breakfast area. I saw people walking away with bagels in spite of the sign. Value for money. Place doesn't look like a hotel. Some converted nursery home?? Room ceilings very low and not in the best shape. Bathroom very very small. Don't see lot of people around.

Thank you for the review. We are a converted hospital. We have tried to make sure people stay in the cafe for breakfast but we can only control so much. People typically do what they want to do. Thank you for staying with us and for seeing the value in the hotel. We hope you stay with us again. More

Wifi terrible, got better connection with my cell phone. Had to switch room because heat was not working in first room. Second room had blown bulb in bed lamps. Bath room sink was cracked. The place is uniquely layout from ordinary hotels/motels. Very clean and quiet. Security within is acceptable.

Thank you for the comments and review. We provide WiFi for free and sometimes can be spotty. I have informed facilities about the sink and the bulb. If you can email me and let me know the room you were in so we can address this right away, that would be great. Thank you again for the feedback. Nicoleoliva@forumsouthflorida.com More

Very Clean room and bathroom. Nothing to complain. Nice Staffel and good parking. We felt safe. The distance to the Beach is totally OK (with a car). Breakfast is for free. Products are average quality. BUT: You can not turn off the A/C. The room was ice cold and loud. It was difficult to sleep properly.

it was ok. Converted hospital room. Beds were comfy. No alcohol permitted. Computer outside room did not work but person at front desk was very helpful. Religious place. People were very nice. Cold small breakfast. Served it's purpose. It was close to nothing. No shopping or restaurants close.

Christian lodging, ministry and conference center. No smoking and drinking. Continental breakfast. Close to I-95 and beach if driving. Just northeast of Fort Lauderdale. Surrounding area is residential. Three stars would be my rating.

This is an inexpensive convention style facility, with small room suites also available for families. It was formerly a hospital and medical center, very plain and institutional. Higher level common areas were smelly (stale body odors and poor ventilation). Housekeeping was almost nonexistent, room trash was not emptied, kitchenettes were not stocked as promised, and the bathrooms did not have... More
