We have vacationed at Palm Island Resort many times and it keeps getting better. Over the years the owners have been renovating the condos-some of which had become fairly dated. If you are booking on-line, make sure to view the pictures of the individual units to see what you are getting as there are 3 classes of condos. The condos... More

We have gone to this property for years to enjoy a family weekend. It has gorgeous beaches, great for sunsets and looking for sharks teeth, perfect for adults and kids. Redbeard the Pirate is not to be missed if kids are present. Restaurant has good food and it is an easy get a way. Condos are furnished with all you... More

Just returned form our 7-day vacation on the mainland, Palm Island Resort which I think they call Harbourtown. Our unit was in the marina on the 2nd floor. Great view of evrything from up there. We loved our stay. We put in our kayaks 5 of the 7 days right there at the marina. It was somewhat of an acrobatic... More

Stayed in a condo at the Marina. Loved it. We are sailors and even though we were offered an upgrade to the Island, preferred to say where the boats were. Still had access to pool and all amenities. Wonderful place for a getaway!! Leverocks Restaurant, right on the grounds!! Fantastic food and atmosphere. Looking forward to a return trip.

Ok, when we first arrived at the resort @ 2.30pm, I know check in is not till 3pm, but we didn't get into our room until 5.30pm. Not very happy.... 2nd Day - We rented a golf cart, the teenager girls were driving, when the golf cart stopped. So they decided to push it, it then took off by itself... More

We usually stay at a beach where there are properties all lined up along the beach bit this was such a nice, quiet place. 95% of the staff were friendly, happy, and made us feel welcome. The ferry runs constantly back & forth (you have to drive your car into the ferry which only takes about 5 min. to get... More

Five perfect days at the ultimate family vacation spot! Relaxing, peaceful, and wonderful amenities. Loved the quick walk to the beach every morning to swim, go shelling and find shark teeth. We'll be back!

A typical day for us at Palm Island Resort goes something like this—coffee on porch overlooking the Gulf, bicycle or walk to the cove, swim in Gulf, lounge at pool, lunch at villa, back to Gulf, walk to Rum Bay Restaurant for dinner, cycle to cove to watch sunset (and sometimes dolphins). The Gulf water was exceptionally calm and soothing... More

We spent 3 nights here and were amazed by the location, the trip starts with the 55 usd shortest car ferry ride of my life and then you enter a different world. The resort is vast and 30 years old but extremely well maintained, the villa are fantastic with multiple small villages with different sizes of appartments (condos), we had... More

Peaceful, beautiful, oasis, magical, immaculate, romantic. The service is prompt and efficient. There is a small restaurant and bar, but just as easy to bring your own groceries and play weekend gourmet. The beach is well maintained, shells galore, turtle nests and amazing sunsets. In summer, rent a cart. You'll need it!
