I travel extensively for work and play, but have never written a review of a hotel before. After my recent experience at Palm Island Resort, I felt compelled to write. We booked late to bring the kids down to Florida to see my dad and get some beach time after a very long cold winter in the northeast, so it... More

We are so disappointed after coming here for years. The place is falling apart. Condo is musty and tired. Golf carts being held together with rubber bands and glue. Store has been closed and you can't even get basics any more. Staff tries but admits that management is not attentive. Food at the restaurant was acceptable but nothing special. Stay... More

Friendly helpful dock hands. Great amenities. Pool, hot tub, boaters outdoor kitchen with grill. Clean shower rooms. Take a water taxi to the island for some beach time! It's a small marina so be sure to make reservations.

I have been fascinated by Palm Island for several years now. I have always wondered what it would be like to live on an island. I finally made the trip to Palm Island in November 2013 and I have been dreaming about going back ever since. Since there is no bridge, you have to get on a car ferry and... More

This was our first trip to the resort and we will definitely come back. It was quiet, beautiful, unspoiled perfect relaxing getaway. We traveled with our 2 young kids- 1+ and 4 year old and they had a blast- between the pristine beaches, clean pool and playgrounds -they were busy and happy and we got a chance to sit back... More

We continue to enjoy Palm Island Resort!! This time when we got on the Ferry to go to the island it felt like we were going to a home away from home! The people are great and the peace and quiet is wonderful!! You don't hear or see any traffic, no sirens and no chaos....just peace and quiet and a... More

My husband and I were in Florida for 5 weeks and decided to take a vacation from our vacation rental and spend a few days at the Palm Island Resort. It was the highlight of our Florida experience. When we arrived at the ferry crossing to Palm Island, and drove on and then backed off the ferry at the end... More

We love Palm Island resort. It really does feel like your are thousands of miles away from it all. Everyone is helpful and Rum bay restaurant was very good. They also have take out pizza that's great or they have weber grill that you can use and have meals by the pool. Golf carts are the mode of transportation. Highly... More

My family has been coming here for over 10 years and this island hasn't lost it's magic. Unlike most of Florida this island hasn't been run over by millions of sun-craving crazies. Perfect for a relaxing week. We come every easter and the island is serene and beautiful. The best way to stay on the island is to rent one... More

My husband and I recently spent our 20th anniversary at Palm Island Resort. Three nights in a well-stocked, comfortable waterfront condo with a gorgeous view of the Gulf. Service was excellent and everyone was so friendly. Beach is stunning and quiet - perfect for long walks and shelling. Easy to get to from the East Coast of Florida. Completely relaxed... More
