Rented the Louisiana Suite from Yvonne for one night in August. Well lit by natural light, very clean with access to a beautiful wrap-around balcony. Breakfast was a simple spread of berries, cereal, juice and coffee; nothing to write home about but a nice touch to get us started for the day. Yvonne was most hospitable. She left champagne glasses... More

Mrs Marsh is a wonderful host and I loved my time at her Inn. I hate that she will be retiring soon. My breakfast was very good and consisted of fresh fruits, cereal, coffee, juice and crossants. She also had fresh amish bread. Some people like to make a point of complaining and not enjoying life's blessings.

People who go to a bed and breakfast want a quaint stay with a delicious breakfast. Not so at Russell Roost. The breakfast was TERRIBLE! Yvonne clearly served us her leftovers: two stale muffins, a bit of cream cheese that was expired over a year, jam that was looked like petrified jello and a yogurt that was sour! I am... More

The lovely inn keeper mrs Marsh was waiting for us out on the porch when we arrived a little later at night from the airport (which was only a short drive). What a lovely friendly lady. We love staying in B&B's but find that with our ten month old daighter we are no longer welcome in most B&B's. We felt... More

We only stayed one night there, but it was very cozy and clean. The service was fantastic and friendly. You could walk to downtown if you have comfy shoes, but we drove to a lot and walked around from there. I highly recommend staying there!

My husband and I stayed here for Valentine's Day, 2011. Yvonne was gracious and we felt we had a lot of privacy. Very clean, nice room. Wonderful location! We will be back!

My room was very comfortable. The house has a lovely, large porch and large, comfy common area. Breakfast was very simple, fruit and bagel, but that was fine with me after a weekend in New Orleans. The location was great. It was only a few blocks to the town. The best part of my stay was the hostess, Yvonne. She couldn't... More

The B&B was clean and in a good location to the Pensacola Historic District and Inn Keeper was nice. Just thought it was strange that the Inn Keeper was not there nor had anyone there to greet us unpon our arrival nor was she present for breakfast the next morning. Just a note to help yourself to the food/cereal/fruit she... More

This B&B is the best. It is centrally located to down-town & is easily accessible from the highway. It has everything one could hope for & Yvonne is a delightful hostess who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and completely at ease. Thanks for a great visit! David, Sally and Hamish.

My boyfriend and I stayed here to see a concert at the civic center and were greeted with Yvonne's warm welcoming, making us totally at ease in her home. We have decided that Bed and Breakfast may be our new way to go instead of a standard hotel. The location was excellent, a short walk to the concert at the... More
